All bulls will be 100% guaranteed against injury and death through September 1st. All bulls have the following information: Semen Tested, Ultrasounded, Birth Weight, Weaning Weight, Yearling Weight, EPD’s, Scrotal Measurement, and Average Daily Gain (ADG).
Feed
Bulls are fed a 2 1/2 - 3 pound a day feed ration. They are not fat and are ready to go to work.

Welcome to our 41st Annual Bull Sale!
The feeder calf market is at an all time high. With weigh up bulls bringing record high prices it is a good time to trade in your old bulls for young bulls with some new genetics. These bulls are raised with the commercial cattle producer in mind. They are fed no supplemental feed during the summer and must rely on their dams’ milk and grass. The weaning weights are down this year due to the dry conditions.
There will be heifer bulls, moderate framed maternal bulls and larger framed growth bulls at this sale. The bulls have been culled for performance, structure and semen tested. Only the very top bulls make this sale with none held back. The bulls are out of a cow herd that are required to calve every year in a 70 day breeding season. All open cows are sold as weigh ups. The cows are also culled for bad udders, feet and structure problems and poor dispositions. The bulls are guaranteed through the first breeding season or September 1st. If a bull dies or gets injured contact us as soon as possible. If available, we will replace them with another bull or you will get credit minus the salvage value at next years’ sale.

Prospective Bull Buyers,
We would like to welcome you to our 8th annual bull sale in conjunction with Oetken Angus. We sure hope that the bulls purchased in the past sales have worked and continue to work for you. Selling with Oetkens has been a great opportunity provided to us by Keith and Lori, and we truly thank them for allowing us that opportunity. This has been a great fit between our programs as we have very similar philosophies. This set of bulls is probably the most well-rounded set that we have offered to date. We have everything from sleep-all-night heifer bulls to some very good growth bulls to bulls with carcass to bulls with maternal. These bulls were all raised north of Crawford on gumbo grass and have NOT been crept-fed. They and their mothers have done it all on their own. They were weaned the middle of September then sent to Darnall Feedlot near Harrisburg about the first of October. These bulls have since been penned, fed, performed, and vaccinated right alongside Oetkens.
