Dear Valued Customers and Friends,
Welcome to our 6th Reds in the Green Hills Bull and Female sale! We are excited to present this year's offering of age-advantaged and yearling bulls, as well as many spring and fall breds and pairs, registered and commercial open heifers. I believe you will find there is something for everyone.
The bulls are performance tested on a Purina developer ration we have been using for over 20 years. This ration is designed to ensure soundness while showcasing their true genetic potential. We don’t believe in getting our bulls fat, as longevity and soundness is our top priority.
Our goals are to produce bulls and females that will excel and improve our own and our customers' herds for generations to come. Not only do we select for maternal traits and growth, but carcass traits are a big focus for us because at the end of the day we are all in the BEEF business. The Rogers kids really enjoy showing steers in the carcass contest at the Missouri State Fair and have been very successful. This year 3 of our 5 steers went prime and our top 2 placed 3&4 in the Hotel Restaurant division and Thomas’ steer won the Chef’s Choice Award!
Our cow herds are managed on an intensive rotational grazing program with mostly electric fences. Our cattle are adapted to fescue pasture and a strict mineral program. After weaning, our heifers are developed on pasture with 3-5 pounds of grain fed with a bucket. This helps to ensure longevity and a good disposition.
Thank you for considering our genetics as part of your operation. We look forward to seeing you March 15, in the beautiful Green Hills of north central Missouri.
Sincerely, Rogers Ranch and JS Ranch

We have used him heavily and were blessed with mostly heifer calves which we are very excited to keep in the herd for replacements. Here is your chance to own a true Patriot!
Bull
Two Year old Alert! We purposely held onto 325 last year so Gracie could show him and promote our program this past summer. Which he did very well bringing home many banners, and now it's time to hang up the halter and put this Growth Stud to work! Combining our long time herd sire PIE One of a Kind 842 and RRA Mabel 564 he's sure to produce some awesome replacement females.
3316 is a wide topped bull with perhaps a little larger frame. Here is another heifer bull option with extra growth and performance. The Watchman daughters we purchased from D2H Red Angus are turning into some phenomenal cows.
