Welcome Friends and Fellow Cattlemen -

Welcome to the 2025 edition of the T&E Angus and Mr. K Angus online bull and female sale. This years bid-off sale will be held on DV Auction beginning Mondy, February 24th and ending Monday, March 3rd. We will be hosting an open house at the T&E Angus facility on Sunday, March 2nd from 1-5 p.m. Please come, view the cattle, having a meal and refreshments, and talk cattle.

Wow!! That is what can be said about the cattle market as we head into 2025. The demand for top quality feeder cattle that command these record setting prices has never been higher. We believe that this set of bulls and heifers will provide you, the producer, with unlimited potential in your next calf crop. This year’s offering is as strong and consistent as any we have offered and have bred in longevity and functionality. Our goal here at T&E and Mr. K is to provide you with functional and sound angus cattle. We try and use all the tools available to increase your bottom line.

Sires included in this years offering include Vermillion Riverside, Ellingson Brickhouse, Sitz Stellar, Myers Fairn-Square, as well as owned herd sires MK Coaltrain 937, MK Drifter 1317, TBA Bloodline 1621, and our newest herd sire Ellingson Iceman 2128. This group of sires we believe are producer cattle that are consistent from birth to growth and provide maternal qualities. All bulls are DNA tested using Angus GS and will have passed a breeding exam. These bulls are 100% guaranteed for the first breeding season.

We are also very excited to offer ten select open heifers. These heifers are the strongest set of females that we have ever offered for sale. They come from the heart of our replacements and represent what we are striving to produce. We feel that these heifers will be great momma cows that will benefit any program. Once again, we will gladly keep and breed these heifers if that is something that appeals to you.

We want to extend a big thank you to all our past customers and friends that make us keep doing what we love to do. We look forward to meeting new costumers and providing all your needs from top quality angus genetics. Feel free to stop by the ranch anytime to view the cattle and have your questions answered. We look forward to seeing you March 2nd!

LOT 1

Yearling Bulls

What an outstanding and exciting landmark set of 5 flush brothers to start our 2025 sale catalog with. These brothers have been standouts since day 1 and we couldn’t be more excited to bring them to the public. They display as much power, mass, bone and depth of flank while standing on excellent feet as any bull in the sale. These bulls also offer a balanced and adequate EPD profile with plenty of growth. Look for these brothers to add predictable and reliable genetics, with a phenotype that we strive to produce. Their dam made her way to the donor pen after achieving pathfinder status with a BR 4/105 WR 4/108 and YR 4/105 and a calving interval of 369 days on her first 4 calves. She produced the lot 1 bull on our sale last year. She is a clean-fronted, extremely long-sided female with some added frame and power. You will see many more progeny from her in the future.

very well for us. His dam is a natural daughter of the great 606 cow with a BR 5/95 WR 5/101 along with a calving interval of 367.

More maternal focused bred bull from the famous Jilt cow family. Females should be really good, while adding some muscle and hip shape. Dam

T&E Riverside 443

Really complete-made bull from his phenotype to his EPD profile. A bull that should sire feeder cattle that will grow while also maintaining functional maternal females. His dam never misses an AI date, is a hard-working cow with BR 7/102 WR 7/102 with a calving interval of 367 and has never had a heifer calf.

What an elite duo of flush brothers out of the great 511 cow. A mating that will sire moderate births with tons of performance that the commercial cattlemen thrive to find. I believe the maternal aspect of these bulls is extremely high and valuable as well with the backing of 511, which undoubtedly is the best cow to date to walk this ranch. This flush also produced the leadoff heifer in this year’s sale along with 4 more flush sisters being retained in the herd.

Really exciting Stellar bull here, he’s an absolute stud. He carries tons of muscle expression, depth of flank with unmatched dimension. He was a favorite of everyone all summer long. He was one of the heaviest weaning bulls coming his first calf dam at 790 for a WR 115.

Another really good stellar that is powerfully built with added growth values to go along with him. Lots of cow power in this bull’s pedigree as well. These 0682

A Rawhide son that’s going to give some extra frame, while still giving plenty of performance. Tons of cow power behind this guy too, his dam is a maternal sister to M K Coaltrain 937. Females should be really good out of this mating.

Fall Born Angus Bulls

Once again we are show casing one of our owned herdsires in the fall division. TBA Bloodline 1621 was our selection from the 2022 T-Bone Angus Sale. We selected him for his extreme length of body, depth of rib and capacity that he had to go along with his easy fleshying ability. He is also out of one of their very best cows and highly productive cows. These fall bulls ran with the 2 year olds all summer long on pasture,

High-capacity bull here with good depth

and is clean headed with smooth shoulder pattern. Calvary B063 daughters have been highly sought after in recent years, topping many sales across the country.

Fall Born Angus Bulls

Heavy-boned, soggy-made, ground-pounding presence to this bull. 3503 was also the heaviest weaning fall bull with an actual WW of 788. Dam is a sharp fronted, heavy muscled cow, with stout brood cow look to her. She has been very productive with BR 6/109 and WR 5/103

Athletic sound bull, that will get out and cover a lot of cows. He’s had a lot of maternal brothers go through our sale as his dam is a no-miss cow with a BR 7/97, WR 6/101.

Larger framed fall bull, that still has some capacity to him that these bloodlines display. Dam is a direct descendant of the duke cow family.

Two Year Old Bulls

Here’s a 2 year old bull that we are extremely high on as we used him for clean up on our own registered heifers last spring. Hard to find a calving ease bull that displays as much muscle expression, bone mass, and width of body in moderate package. His daughters should be outstanding as well with the pedigree he has behind him.

396 is absolutely loaded with power and mass, as he is also the natural calf of 511. He’s an extremely docile, easy-fleshing bull that should sire females that display the same qualities. This cross of 0682 x 511 should be some of the very best females you can find.

What a tremendous and exciting prospect we are starting the heifers with. This Riverside x 511 has the making to be a big time cow. She has style and a presence to her while maintaining that brood cow look. She also boasts some major growth and carcass numbers as well as $Values. We don’t offer very many females out of 511, but I believe this heifer will make an impact on anyone’s herd.

Driving the science of better breeding

There’s little room for error in the cattle business. Producers need the most advanced information to make smart selection decisions, and Angus Genetics Inc. (AGI) provides it through genomic-enhanced expected progeny differences (GE-EPDs).

GE-EPDs have become the industry standard for herd improvement, building on decades of science-backed genetic evaluation tools originated and maintained through the American Angus Association®, home to the largest and ever-growing single-breed beef cattle database.

EPDs that traditionally contained all pedigree, performance and progeny information now also include results from available genomic, or DNA, tests. Breeders who use genomic technology give buyers access to AGI-generated GE-EPDs that provide:

Increased predictability and decreased risk for young and unproven animals due to enhanced accuracy of EPDs

Better characterization of genetics for difficult-to-measure performance traits (such as carcass traits, maternal traits and feed efficiency)

The ability to make more rapid progress for traits that are important to you, due to:

·  more accurate selection

·  easier identification of genetic outliers

·  the ability to propagate young animals with confidence earlier in their lives

In fact, GE-EPDs on unproven animals have the same amount of accuracy as if they have recorded an average of 15 progeny, depending on the trait. That’s valuable insight, offered regularly through the breed’s weekly national cattle evaluation.

How do you know if EPDs are genomic-enhanced?

Ask your breeder, refer to the registration paper, or look for the AGI GE-EPD logo, Angus GS TM powered by partner Neogen or the HD50k by partner Zoetis. These images indicate animals for which genomic testing has been conducted and incorporated by AGI into GE-EPDs
