Welcome
to the 47th Annual Edgar Brothers bull sale! We would like to thank all of our customers who have supported us and put their trust in our program. We do not take that lightly. Our family has been raising Reg. Angus Cattle for nearly 70 years. Over that many years things have changed drastically in the world, but the one thing that has stayed the same is our commitment to the cattlemen and women that make their living the same way we do. Our goal is to raise efficient cattle that work in a real world environment. We strive to make low maintenance cattle that perform on grass and in the feedlot. We feel our cattle are designed for the commercial cow-calf producer, we look for cattle who are fertile, good footed and have good bags. Once again, we will be offering more bulls than ever before. The demand for EB genetics is growing and we are doing our best to meet it. However, we will not sacrifice quality just because we can sell more animals. This offering is as good as any we have ever offered.
This year along with the bulls we will be offering a set of donor quality yearling heifers. They are from the front end of our program and are the type of females that sting to let go of! All females will need to go to their new owners as soon as arrangements can be made. Bulls will be kept at no charge until April 1st or deduct $100 if taken home within one week of the sale. Take advantage of our volume discount starting at 3 bulls @ 3% up to 5 bulls @5%. We will be retaining 1/3 semen interest in all bulls unless agreed upon prior to the sale. If you ever have any issues with your purchases do not hesitate to contact us. Thanks and hope to see you sale day.

The sale starts off this year with a tremendous individual sired by our featured herds-sire the $280,000 Poss Pendleton. 940 generated out of our ET program posted some of the biggest 205- and 365-days weights we have ever had. Deep and thick 940 records 16 different EPDs or $values in the top 25% of the breed. The impressive young donor dam of 940 records 2 calves at 94 BWT 112 WW and 116 YW ratios. 940 has been a visitor favorite this year

The much anticipated first sire group of the $100,000 Baldridge War Cry is here. 7253 has surfaced as one of the elite prospects ever bred in this program. Massive and heavy to the ground, he combines two elite cows at the end of his pedigree in 5E Erica V8501 and Erica of Ellston T220. Both cows have had propensity to produce bulls and females that rise to the top of their contemporaries in performance and eye appeal. 7253 has 13 traits in the top 25% of the breed and brings a dimension of fleshing ability and muscle that few bulls combine. You will want to see him and his brothers on sale day or before!
Lots 3 & 4
One of the great flushes ever raised on the ranch is the combination of Baldridge War Cry and the cow family that raised E&B Rip. The donor dam of 874 EB Diamond C1203 is one of the most visually impressive females on the ranch and quite possibly the best daughter of Sitz Resilient. The deceased Baldridge War Cry has been a 2024 phenom in the marketplace with semen selling as high as $3,000 a straw. Sons will surface and we believe they could be this lot or in this offering. The predictions on this set of brothers looks to be combination of muscle and maternal traits.

Welcome to the Edgar Brothers
Annual Production Sale
As I sit and write this letter, I am amazed by the opportunities that lie ahead for the commercial and purebred producers. The survivors that’s you, have through grit, genetics and family made to the point where the fundamentals and societal choices are all in your favor. The next step is to compete to separate yourself on your genetic wisdom and hard work. That can start or continue today at Edgar Bros. This family is just like you, no task is too big, their word is their contract, and family is what they lean on every day. The activity of being productive is always inspiring when you visit the ranch and it is truly an American virtue that they hold from oldest to the youngest.
The offering I believe will be one of the good sets of bulls to sell this spring. It’s a great combination of matching cowboy logic and science into a product that can go anywhere and leave a stamp of their genetic selection pressure. I believe their sire selections of Baldridge War Cry, Poss Pendleton, EB Dutton and Musgrave Action have been great decisions. The visual appraisal and data collection of this offering I believe reaffirm how good of cowboys the Edgars are. The diverse bottom side of pedigrees but consistency type across the board of the bulls and replacements is as good as anywhere I travel. The front end of the bulls is impressive and diverse with their best cow families represented.
In closing, I hope you get a chance to come and view this offering. it will surpass or rival any set anywhere. Meet the family. They are humble, caring, hardworking and competitive. All those traits are needed and valued in life and business. It’s an honor to be a small part of this growing and impressive program and if I can be of assistance please don’t hesitate to contact me.
God
Bless, Chris Earl
