For Sarah and I it has been fun watching our kids grow up, seeing them get more and more involved in the ranch and cattle and the interest they take in it.
This year’s group of bulls is another outstanding set of bulls with something for everybody and we are pleased to offer a variety of sire options from our walking sires to a variety of AI sires.

We start calving in January and the cows spend most of the summer on crown grazing land. Our bulls are not crepe fed and fed a modest silage ration after weaning.

Mossberg is a slightly larger framed larger boned Yeti son loaded with performance. He like all the other Yeti sons has lots of thickness, length, and lots of performance but comes with a slightly different flavor as he is polled. His Dam HYS 909G is a larger framed dark red goggled cow going back to the old female maker FGAF Barbossa. Mossberg should work great on some larger cows for both for an excellent set of steers but also some great replacements.

Murry is a bull that limitless potential! Another bull I score very high. He is a very thick long bodied polled bull with both calving ease and still great performance. He is the second calf out of a very maternal second calver weighing 88 lbs at birth but weaning at 926lbs. Maximus would be a great choice for your young cows that still need a bit a calving ease but need to wean off some pounds as well.
Martin is deep bodied soggy made-up Hart State of War son. His dam is a very maternal young MFI Bam Bam daughter. Martin should add performance but still maintain good calving ease which would make him a great choice for a group of young cows.

Our weaning weights are slightly lower this year due to drought conditions on the pasture. We weaned the calves a month earlier than previous years. However, this has not affected the quality of the cattle. Once they were put on the Country Junction feed pellet ration and had access to good quality feed, they were quick to reach the anticipated yearling weights.

Wow, she did it again. Last year her bull calf was our high seller who went to Double Bar D Farms in Saskatchewan. One year later and this cow has a stand out son again in our bull pen. Mymax is AI sired by Kuntz Climax 12C, a fleck bull we bought semen from and are totally happy with. 714M is a very heavily muscled bull, has very good performance and a super good dispossession. In my opinion, this guy’s dam is the best built cow on our farm and just continues to prove herself year after year. In 2023 we were looking for a polled herd bull who would not only give us some polled calves but would also add performance to his offspring. We purchased Big Energy from Beechinor Land and Livestock and he met all of our expectations. Mighty Energy is one of my favorite built bulls at the time these notes are written. He is such a well balanced calf with a big wide topline, carrying so much meat and muscle right down into his flank. This guy lost his mom three weeks after he was born and was raised by one of our commercial cows who needed many weeks to accept him. Once the bond was made, she did an exceptional job on him. Mojo turned out to be the second heaviest bull at weaning and I have a feeling he will be the heaviest bull come sale time. Mobster will turn into a pretty big boy and he looks sharp with his long body, deep ribs, dark cherry red color and lots of hair. Macho’s dam is a multi generational polled cow, she is possibly the best uddered cow we own and at 10 years old is still a very pretty cow to look at and is still producing exceptional calves. There are very few faults in Macho’s mamma, and because of these excellent traits Macho would be a great bull to build a cow herd around. 36
Mocha is a scurred Energy son who is a very well put together calf with that nice haircoat, a trait that most of the Energy offspring have. Moses is a very dark red, goggle eyed, polled Fleckvieh bull sired by BLL Energy 238K. His dam is an Envoy daughter who goes back to Radium and Viper in her pedigree. Merricho is a smaller framed JNR son who I feel would work perfectly on a group of younger cows, calves should come out easy. His dam is a very pretty, red goggle eyed Elevation daughter. Merricho has lots of powerful Fleckvieh genetics on both sides of his pedigree. His polled head and his 81 pound birth weight makes him a bull you could use on almost any group of cows.
This is a bull who doesn’t need much of an introduction to most of our customers, as we have had several of his sons go through our past sales, he is productive and raises exceptional females. Melcom is one of those bulls that you just have to like everything about him. He is very long bodied with a nice wide top line and a lot of muscle and hair. He has a really good temperament, he’s the first one that wants a scratch out in the pen. Melcom’s dam is a 7 year old cow that we would consider to be on our top 5 cows list, always weaning one of the heaviest calves at weaning time. Mac is another smooth polled IMax son who could potentially be a candidate for the heifer pen. Macs dam has a very tidy udder and good thickness and did a good job on her first calf. We have raised a lot of Imax sired calves over the years and we keep going back to him to use in our heifer pen for AI’ing because of his consistency for calving ease and good growth. Macs dam is also sired by Guerroro, who is another good calving ease bull, so good potential for easy calving in Mac with lots of Polled genetics in his pedigree.

Malachi is another MMWK Big Cobra sired son and is out of a Skors High Roller dam , who is a very well built cow with a super tight udder and lots of milk. Malachi is a smooth polled black bull with a very thick black coat of long hair and a lot of width across his top. We feel this guy should produce some big powerful steer calves and nice, sound females.

Macobra is sired by MMWK Big Cobra , a bull that came from Willow Creek SImmentals. Macobra is the youngest bull in our pen and will be 11.5 months old on sale day. Even with his late birth date he still weaned off at 750 pounds. His dam is a traditional fullblood cow with a very nice udder, so if you’re looking for a polled black bull with some good Fleckvieh genetics then this guy should fit the bill. .
Melody is our top pick out of our fullblood heifer calves, it’s hard to let her go, but we chose to put her in the sale, as she is a prime example of the type of cattle we strive to raise! Melody is sired by our JNR Kozmo bull, she is a top quality heifer with lots of muscle, good hair coat, and a very well shaped head. Her dam is a very productive 5 year old, dark red, goggle eyed cow with a perfect udder. Melody should truly be a great asset in any purebred or fullblood herd.

Myla Is a full Fleckvieh heifer sired by Lone Stone Envoy 165D, she is a nice feminine type heifer who still carries enough muscle to make her very attractive. Myla has a very powerful cow behind her, sired by Double Bar D Rolex, who produces one of the heaviest calves every fall. Our Lone Stone Envoy cows have turned into really nice mamma cows and we expect that Myla will be an exceptional cow as well, just like her mamma.

Mabel is another very stylish looking heifer out of our Lone Stone Envoy bull, who has been a cow maker sire for us. Mabel’s dam is a very productive cow sired by Wolfe Atomic 616A, a bull who has left us with some of the best females we have ever owned. He has greatly improved the udder quality on the cows in our herd. Mabel is a heifer with lots of good breeding and we feel she will make a super cow. BW

Maggie’s dam has a very correct udder, which is so important to us when selecting females for our registered herd. She is sired by JNR Kozmo who is adding lots of depth and muscle to his offspring. Maggie is a very feminine built heifer with good length and depth and comes from a cow family that have done really well for us.
Terms & Conditions
TERMS - The terms of the sale are cash, cheque, e-transfer, or wire and are due at the time of sale, unless other arrangements have been made between buyer and seller prior to the sale. Transcon reserves the right to charge interest at a rate of 2% per month on overdue accounts. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement is made. Transcon Livestock Corp. reserves the right to require a certified cheque as settlement before releasing any sale cattle. Should any purchaser fail to settle for their purchase Transcon Livestock Corp. reserves full power to resell the animal to the best advantage either publicly or privately, without further notice. Any loss arising from such resale together with keep and all other expenses shall be payable by the defaulter. All settlements must be made with the clerks of the sale before any cattle will be released. Transcon Livestock Corp and/or the Auctioneer shall have the right to refuse bids from anyone who has a previous record of default in payment or who has not made proper credit clearance prior to the sale with the owner or Sale Managers.
BID - No private sales will be allowed except as otherwise provided for in the terms and conditions. No by-bidding will be permitted.
SALES TAXES – Applicable sales taxes will be charged on semen, embryos, and trucking fees (if listed), respective to the home province of the buyer, not the seller.
DISPUTES - In cases of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision in such matters will be final.
PURCHASER’S RISK - Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Animals will be cared for at the purchaser’s risk for a reasonable length of time.
INSURANCE – Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser at the time of sale and should be insured. Animals returning to the seller’s farm must be insured.
US BUYERS – There is an additional charge (approximately $300.00 US dollars) that will be applied to each animal purchased. This covers documentation, vet inspections/testing required to export. This cost does not include transportation or brokerage which is the responsibility of the buyer.
CATTLE PICTURES AND INFORMATION PROVIDED - The images in this catalogue are believed to be accurate representations of the individual animals and the information contained in this catalogue is provided by the seller and believed to be true and accurate. Transcon Livestock Corp. and catalogue designers/ producers assume no responsibility if the images and/or information as received have been altered or is inaccurate.
ANNOUNCEMENTS – All announcements from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay attention to any such announcements.
CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY - A registration/recordation certificate issued by the applicable breed association and duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer of each animal after settlement has been made. It is the responsibility of the buyer to determine the acceptance of this certificate in any other association.
SHIPPING - Assistance will be given in making shipment after the sale but no risk is assumed by the Sales Management or Seller. Expenses incurred are the responsibility of the purchaser. Purchasers are requested to furnish shipping instructions when making settlement.
BREEDERS GUARANTEE - As per applicable Canadian Breed Association Breeding Guarantee guidelines. Copies are available at the sale settlement desk to be picked up by the buyer at any time. In no event shall the seller be responsible for reimbursing more than the purchase price. EXCEPTION TO GUARANTEE - In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, the guarantee shall be null and void.
HEALTH - It is the buyer’s responsibility to determine health requirements for importing any animal into his province or state. Transcon Livestock Corp. assumes no responsibility for the health status of any animal in the sale.
EMBRYO & SEMEN – Full settlement must be made before release is done and shipping arrangements should be done within 30 days of the sale unless arrangements made between buyer and seller prior to the sale. Shipping arrangements and costs are the expense of the purchaser once release has been given.
ACCIDENTS - Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither the Sales Management, auctioneer, consignors, or Association assumes any responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability legal or otherwise in the event of accident or loss of property.
RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS - The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and the seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals following purchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction and the rights and obligations of the two parties connected thereto are not covered by the terms and conditions of this sale.

IS AGENT ONLY - It is to be clearly understood that Transcon Livestock Corp. is only acting as a medium between buyer and seller and is not in any way responsible for any failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations. Neither does Transcon Livestock Corp. assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collection of any monies between parties. Any legal action that may be taken, in exceptional cases, must be between buyer and seller.
