POS Title: My Bags Museum Store Creative Programme Name: Jui-Hui Yu (Livia Yu) Course Title: MA Fashion Promotion (Faculty of ADM) Rationale: (Background / Experience) With enthusiasm, I aspire to become a professional fashion marketing promoter in the fashion world. I am from TAIWAN. During my associate degree and college study, I specialised in Architectural Design in which I attended courses such as Basic Design, Architectural Design, Interior Design and Computer Aided Design Drawing. In addition, my study at the University of Kang Ning furthered my undergraduate education. I have specialised in Applied English which brought me closer to essential commercial subject specific knowledge. After graduating from my undergraduate programme, I started working at the Jing Full Company as a sales representative, where they manufactured high quality bags that provided an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) service to Coach, CK, Kipling and many famous brands. This gave me ample time to grasp an understanding of the complexities of the textile industry. Moreover, I then progressed to working at the Palace Company as a materials development administrator, where manufactures of all kinds of sports gloves and accessories for famous Sports brands such as Adidas, Dainese, and TNF etc. were based. During this time, this job brought me the opportunity to explore my management skills in textile products marketing.
Aims The aim of the project is to launch a brand handbags store which will combine the sales of fashion and sports bags with the brand spirit of the story as well as introducing new designers’ goods considering cultural and creative perspectives. Furthermore, the brand handbags which in-store in “My Bags Museum Store” may have their own business online selling the goods but they would like to open a store in order to experiment new marketing strategies. Consequently, My Bags JH,Yu -1
Museum Store will offer a short term contract at least three years for the brand handbags to develop the store in the United Kingdom. In terms of store design, as the store name suggests the store would resemble a small bag museum.
