Negli ultimi dieci anni è sempre stata una bella tradizione iniziare la stagione della FIS Marathon Cup nella soleggiata valle di Livigno con La Sgambeda. Assieme agli atleti professionisti, sempre più amanti di questa disciplina vogliono avvicinarsi alla vera neve alla prima possibilità. Livigno è il luogo ideale per combinare una prima vacanza invernale con una sfida sportiva diventando la località preferita, non solo per gli sciatori alpini, ma anche per gli amanti dello sci di fondo. Questo è il posto dove incontrare i vecchi amici dopo una lunga stagione estiva, discutere dei piani stagionali, incontrare nuovi amici e divertirsi sciando il più possibile. Il primo inizio di successo dell’anno toglie la pressione agli amanti della disciplina e chiarisce la condizione ai professionisti. Spero vi divertiate alla partenza del nuovo inverno a La Sgambeda, che diventerà il vostro aperitivo per le maratone a seguire. Non dimenticatevi di aiutare i vostri compagni sul percorso e di ringraziare i volontari che contribuiscono al successo della manifestazione. Geehrte Freunde des Skifahrens!

Over the last 10 years it has been nice tradition to start FIS Marathon Cup season in sunny valley of Livigno with La Sgambeda. Together with top athletes more and more popular skiers want to get to the real snow at the first possibility. Livigno is an ideal place for combining early winter holiday with sportive challenge and so has become beloved place not only for alpine skiers but also for XC addicts. This is the place where to meet old friends after long summer season, talk with competitors about seasonal plans, make new friends and of course have fun skiing as much as you can.

In den letzten zehn Jahren war es immer gute Tradition, die Saison des FIS Marathons Cups in dem sonnigen Livigno Tal mit La Sgambeda anzufangen. Mit den professionellen Athleten, immer mehr liebenden dieser Sportart wollen sich dem Schnee an die erste Möglichkeit nähern. Livigno ist das ideale Ort, um die erste Winterferien zu organisieren mit einem Wettbewerb, so dass es das idealste Ort wird, nicht nur für Alpin Skifahrer, sondern auch für Langläufer. Hier kann man alte Freunde treffen, über den Winterplanen diskutieren, neue Freunde kennenlernen und so viel wie möglich Skifahren.

The first successful start of the year takes pressure of the popular skiers and clears the picture among the top competitors. I hope you will all enjoy the start of new marathon winter at La Sgambeda and it will be your appetizer for the marathons to come. Do not forget to help your fellow skiers on the course and thank the volunteers who are helping at the event.

Der Anfang des Jahres nimmt den Druck von den Liebenden des Sports und klärt die Position der professionellen Athleten. SALUTO DAL COMITATO ORGANIZZATORE Livigno è una delle capitali dello sci di fondo, sia per gli atleti che cercano l’allenamento in altura che per gli appassionati, che vogliono praticare lo sci nordico immersi in un ambiente alpino suggestivo come l’altopiano sul quale sorge la località dell’Alta Valtellina. Sono 30 i km totali di piste che compongono l’anello dello sci di fondo, alcuni dei quali coperti da innevamento programmato per garantire l’apertura della stagione degli sci stretti già da novembre. E per chi non scia, la pista ciclabile viene battuta per le passeggiate a piedi o con le ciaspole, per le attività di nordic walking e per le escursioni con le snow-bike o con i cavalli.

Livigno is one of the capitals of cross-country for professionals looking for training on altitude as also for the lovers of this discipline who want to practice cross-country in a suggestive alpine environment as on the plateau on which stands the locality of Alta Valtellina.

Livigno ist eine der Hauptstädte des professionellen Langlaufs die eine Training Möglichkeit auf der Höhe suchen, als auch für liebenden dieser Sportart, die Langlauf in einer alpinen Umgebung üben möchten.

There are 30 km total of slopes for practicing crosscountry, some with programmed snowing to guarantee the opening of the season already in November. And for those who do not ski, the cycling road is prepared for walks, Nordic walking activities and excursions on snow-bike or with horses. Livigno is an active locality, ideal for those looking for many sports to be practiced. Many events taking place in summer and in winter confirm it: Stralivigno, Free Heel Fest, Transalp, Fiat Nine Knight’s and, of course, La Sgambeda which opens as tradition since twenty years the winter season. Since 10 years the race is also the first of the Fis Marathon Cup circuit and since 2010 part of the Euroloppet circuit.

Per l’assegnazione del pettorale verranno tenuti in considerazione anche i piazzamenti ottenuti nel 2013 nelle gare del circuito Worldloppet e nella gara Stralivigno 2013. I dati devono essere indicati all’atto dell’iscrizione. The starting groups are created by the rapport between the best results of the racer in the years 2009-2010-2012 and the number of the racers taking part in those years. For the starting numbers there will also be taken into account the results gained in the Worldloppet series year 2013. The results gained in Stralivigno 2013 will be taken into account too. Your official results must be indicated when entering the race. The percentage will be calculated in the following means:

Um die Startgruppen zu berechnen werden die Resultate des Teilnehmers in den Jahren 2009-2010-2012 mit der Gesamtzahl der Athleten (mänliche Kategorie und weibliche Kategorie), die sich klassifizieren konnten, verrechnet. Nur besondere Plazierungen in der 2013 Ausgabe der Worldloppet Wettkämpfe, die auf dem Anmeldeformular zu vermerken sind, können die Zuweisung zu einer Startgruppe modifizieren. Die diesjährigen Plazierungen in der Stralivigno 2013 haben auche Einfluss auf die Berechnung der Startgruppen:

TEILNAHMEBEDINGUNG

All male and female skiers from 18 years old and members of the National Associations belonging to F.I.S. for the season 2013/2014 may enter the race.

Teilnahmeberechtigt: Damen und Herren mit Mindestalter von 18 Jahre. Die Teilnahme steht jeder gesunden Person offen, eine Lizenz ist nicht erforderlich. (F.I.S. Ausweis für die Teilnehmer an F.I.S. Marathon Cup).

Every athlete that wants to register to the race, has to accept all the general rules published on lasgambeda.it as well as F.I.S. and F.I.S.I. rules.
