I feel like I can

FLY

Lisa Ball

My trampoline is so much fun I Jump and bounce out in the sun.

I Jump so high, like I can fly.

I fly so high up in the sky.

Above the tree, the roof I see.

The birds and I just wonder why?

“You dream all day” is what they say.

I sing so loud, with my pet crowd. The notes I know high and low.

Come on in and watch me sing. I sing all day when skies are gray.

Under the lights that shine so bright

Feet will tap and hands will clap.

Harmonic strums and thundering drums.

Excitement grows down to my toes.

Twinkling star shines so far. The moon is bright all through the night.

Big dipper shows the way to go,

it points you see, towards north you’ll be.

Maybe someday in space I’ll play

And float around up and down.

Weightless space with mask on face

Astronaut me I think I’ll be.

Paddle out, give a shout.

Surfing in, watch for fins.

Gulls fly low, and very slow.

Picking clams right off the sand.

Under the sea is mermaid me. I’ve grown a tail just like a whale.

I follow fish and make a wish. That I could stay another day.

Pets will stare without a care. I can see them watching me.

They give a tug, I give a hug.

I love them all big and small.

I have to laugh when I see giraffes.

They’re necks are long and very strong.

Wolves will howl and lions growl. They try their best to scare the rest.

Eggs and milk mix like silk Stir the cake, then we bake. Wait a while then we smile.

Take a seat so we can eat.

I mix the blue, and red for you. I stir in a circle so it will turn Purple Making your potions or maybe lotions.

It’s so much fun to pretend. I love to play with all my friends.
