before any lasting progress in vision is possible. What are the results? Vision Training depends on you actually doing the exercises. Having the information is not enough. So assuming that you do the exercises I recommended, then you will experience almost immediate improvement in your vision. The progress also depends on the degree of vision problem you have. If you have minus 10 diopters then your progress will be measured in cm. If you wear just a few diopters of correction then progress is much faster. Improvement also seems to depend on your body’s natural healing ability. The records from workshops I have conducted over the last 16 years show an average improvement from between 1 and 3 diopters within the week following the workshop. Often participants in my workshop struggle with their current glasses because they are now too strong. They come on Sunday wearing old glasses with a lower prescription. One lady in Melbourne came the second day with glasses she wore 20 years go. Fashion-wise they were out of date but they were now a perfect fit for her eyes! As with weight loss there are no guarantees but chances are that you will benefit. At one of my workshops in Hamburg a couple of years ago I asked the participants if they had seen any progress during the workshop. One lady reported absolutely no effect whatsoever. I then asked her if she would be willing to do an experiment and sincerely do the suggested exercises for a month, and then decide whether they were beneficial or not. After three weeks her glasses hurt her eyes and she went to see the optometrist. To the amazement of both the optometrist and herself she now measured 2 diopters less. She had gone from minus 6 to minus 4 diopters in three weeks. After that she was very motivated to continue the exercises. Kinesiology is the science of energy balancing and is grounded in the study of anatomy and physiology. It combines elements of chiropractic, acupuncture, nutrition, and counseling and psychology. As such kinesiology is the most holistic of all the natural health care systems. Kinesiologists do not work within the allopathic medical model. Kinesiologists (especially ACKM-trained ones) are energy medicine specialists who emphasise health maintenance, client education and client responsibility by identifying the causative influences in any aspect of their clients’ lives that may be triggering health imbalances. These causative influences may be physical, emotional, chemical, or spiritual in nature. These imbalances are measured by assessing the individual’s ‘chi’, based on the acupuncture meridian system. This is done through muscle response testing and assessing the chi (life energy) in muscles, the chakras (nerve plexi) and many other neural reflexes in the body that the more conventional modalities overlook. Anything a kinesiologist does (or suggests the client does) to restore health, wellness and vitality is aimed at balancing energy and enhancing the body’s own innate healing powers. The premise here is that, when an individual’s chi is balanced and free flowing in their body, then that individual is in the best position to achieve their full potential. If this indeed is the case, then kinesiology is more than just a health and wellness tool, it is a tool for personal growth, development and transformation. In fact, kinesiology is a communication tool that enables a person to assess and upgrade their performance in all areas of their life. How does this work? To help explain it, we must first understand and accept that we alone are responsible for our lives. What I mean is that we create everything we feel and ultimately experience simply by what we have in our mind and what we are thinking at any time. This thinking is a product of who we are at our core. To put it simply, our results in life are a product of what we do which is a result of what we think which ultimately is a reflection of who we are. To change the results we get in life we must change what we do, which means we need to upgrade our thinking by exploring who we are and transform ourselves into better people. This only happens when we get clear on or personal ‘why’. People who get results in life are people who are clear with their ‘purpose’, have a defined and clear personal ‘why’. You see, your ‘why’ governs who you are, how you think, what you do and the results you get in any given situation. Kinesiology can help you reclaim your life and discover your personal ‘why’.
