SUMMIT COUNTY In the resort mountain communities of Summit County and Breckenridge, increased homeowner equity and property values demonstrated a strong residential market in 2015. The proximity to the famous Colorado Rocky Mountains, (under two hours from Denver), continues to position Summit County as one of the leading resort community destinations worldwide. With the increasing desire for lifestyle-inspired home purchases, the resort market in Summit County will continue to rise.

Year-End Highlights:

• Dillon/Summit Cove’s average price is $388,283 – up 8.2% • Keystone’s average price is $437,287 – up 23.8% • Frisco’s average price is $580,159 – up 20.7% • Breckenridge/Blue River’s average price is $738,168 – up 7.1%

The Summit County Micro Market Report (MMR), prepared by LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, compares 2015 yearend statistics (January through December), to that of 2014, for single family homes and condos. The average price of single family homes and condos combined rose 9.2%, resulting in an average price of $564,723 in Summit County. Across the board, days on market are dropping (now 173 days on average), and the sales price to list price ratio is up, averaging 97% throughout the Summit County area. This statistic is evidence of continued competitive, however less frenzied, conditions in the marketplace.
