VAIL VALLEY Quarter 3 (YTD) Highlights:
In the resort mountain residential market of Eagle County and the Vail Valley, the housing market has been expanding steadily, with the percentage of single family homes sold on the rise. Average price and total dollar volume sold are down however, suggesting a more balanced market as we head into the winter selling season.
• Singletree’s average price is $1,058,878 – up 24.9% • Wildridge/Wildwood’s average price is $848,966 – up 3.4% • Lionhead’s average price is $2,459,760 – up 21.8% • Bachelor Gulch’s average price is $3,162,195 – up 56.2%

The Vail Valley Micro Market Report (MMR), prepared by LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, compares 2016 statistics (January through September), to that of 2015, for single family homes and attached dwellings. The number of single family homes and condos sold rose to 975 combined, a 4.6% increase year-over-year, with average days on market decreasing 4.2% to 143 from 2015.
