SUMMIT COUNTY The proximity to the famous Colorado Rocky Mountains, (less than two hours from Denver), continues to position Summit County as one of the leading resort community destinations worldwide.

In the resort mountain communities of Summit County and Breckenridge, the desire for lifestyle-inspired home purchases breeds a continued healthy and balanced real estate market. The Summit County Micro Market Report (MMR), prepared by LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, compares 2016 mid-year statistics (January through June), to that of 2015, for single family homes and attached dwellings. The average price in Summit County rose to $594,502 in 2016, a 7.0% increase over 2015. Across the board, days on market are dropping (now 184 days on average), and the sales price to list price ratio is demonstrating a slight increase (now 97.0%) throughout Summit County, up 1.0% from 2015. This statistic is evidence of continued competitive conditions in the marketplace.
