VAIL VALLEY MID-YEAR Highlights:

In the resort mountain residential market of Eagle County and the Vail Valley, the housing market has been expanding steadily, and the percentage of single family homes sold continues to increase. Available inventory is also rising, meaning additional choices for buyers, allowing for better balance within the marketplace for the upcoming selling season.

• Singletree’s average price is $1,042,630 – up 20.7% • Wildridge/Wildwood’s average price is $919,143 – up 9.5% • Arrowhead’s average price is $1,731,274 – up 10.6% • Bachelor Gulch’s average price is $2,976,932 – up 28.0%

The Vail Valley Micro Market Report (MMR), prepared by LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, compares 2016 mid-year statistics (January through June), to that of 2015, for single family homes and attached dwellings. The number of single family homes and condos sold rose to 572 combined, a 10.4% increase year-over-year, with average days on market decreasing 9.2% to 158 from 2015.
