Grand County
Grand County is a Colorado gem made up of the towns of Fraser, Granby, Grand Lake, Kremmling, Tabernash, and Winter Park. The county was established in 1874, two years before Colorado officially became a state. Winter sport lovers descended on the area in 1938, and today, the town is both a summer and winter destination. The town of Winter Park and the ski area have long been popular with Denver Metro residents in the winter, and Grand Lake is a popular summer destination with fishing, boating, paddle boarding, and kayaking.
