VAIL VALLEY 2016 Highlights:

In the resort mountain residential market of Eagle County and the Vail Valley, we have seen a number of eye-popping transactions in Vail and Beaver Creek. The name of the game continues to be “turnkey” homes in ready to move in shape. A number of good values in Beaver Creek seem to be attracting more attention, both in condos and homes. The middle of the market across the Vail Valley is experiencing lower inventory and limited newer product, and the mid-valley markets have seen robust activity with local buyers and entry level second home purchaser’s.

• Singletree’s average price is $1,060,400 – up 25.1% • Wildridge/Wildwood’s average price is $808,304 – up 3.3% • Lionhead’s average price is $2,235,756– up 21.9% • Bachelor Gulch’s average price is $3,002,919 – up 45.4%

The Vail Valley Micro Market Report (MMR), prepared by LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, compares 2016 statistics (January through December), to that of 2015, for single family homes and attached dwellings. The number of single family homes and condos sold rose to 1,368 combined, a 8.0% increase year-over-year, with average days on market decreasing 2.6% to 147 from 2015.
