I travel to many countries including India, where I work with communities who help me bring design concepts to life. In return I can connect these artisans with other markets which provide continued support and keep their ancient crafts and skills alive. The end results are beautifully crafted products that are made ethically, with integrity and a loving healing energy. My aim is that you will treasure these products forever. They are timeless, stylish pieces that transcend high street fashion trends to appeal to stylish intelligent women who want to shop ethically and consciously. My current collection includes Kimono jackets, silk tunics, bags and scarves, all made from recycled vintage Kantha scarves, saris and quilts from various regions of India. I also have a selection of homewares, including quilts, cushions and vintage panels that can be used to brighten up any room in your home. New items are being designed and developed all the time, so be sure to visit my blog (www. lisataylorblog.com) for updates and information on when these products are available to buy.

Looking forward to SS14 ideas and products, I am taking my inspiration from all things lace and crystal. Colour and texture will still play an important role for me and it will always be part of my signature design work. I will be staying with the key shapes and concepts from my first season, as these ideas and products are truly representative of my brand. You will continue to see the recycled sari kaftans and kantha scarf kimono jackets, and I will be introducing some new fabrics and finishes to update them. I love the versatility of these products and I want you to be able to wear them right the way through the year, day to night, an everyday essential in your wardrobe. I will also be continuing with the tote bags and clutches, looking at new print ideas and updating the trims and finishes. I will be spending some time in Sydney, where I can develop the brand further and connect with a new customer base. After the success of 2013, I will explore and consider all indigenous crafts, connecting with artisans from countries such as Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Australia. I plan on introducing some vintage finds to fulfil a popular request. Follow my blog and watch my website for new products from my collection and also from like minded small designers, who continue to work in an ethical way.
