CITY CAMPUS

The City Campus, situated in the heart of Liverpool, is close to some of the city’s most impressive attractions, such as the Walker Art Gallery, Central Library, World Museum and St George’s Hall. Teaching buildings include the James Parsons Building, Henry Cotton Building, Tom Reilly Building and Avril Robarts Library. The recent extension to our Tithebarn Building – home to the School of Nursing and Allied Health – has provided additional, state-of-the-art, specialist practice simulation suites to help prepare our students for their future careers.
MOUNT PLEASANT CAMPUS
Home to the School of Law; Liverpool Business School; Liverpool School of Art and Design; School of Humanities and Social Science; Liverpool Centre for Advanced Policing Studies; School of Education.
Mount Pleasant Campus is close to the theatres, independent cafés and bars of the Georgian Quarter. This campus captures the creative and entrepreneurial spirit of Liverpool. Buildings include the RIBA award-winning John Lennon Art and Design Building, John Foster Building, Redmonds Building and J H Makin Drama Studio, along with Aldham Robarts Library.

The Student Life Building
A five-storey building housing a range of student-facing services, including advice and wellbeing, careers advice, international exchanges, chaplaincy, an area for individual and group study, the Students’ Union (JMSU) and general teaching spaces.
The Sports Building
A two-storey building with outstanding facilities such as an eight-court sports hall, two multi-purpose halls and a stateof-the-art gym.
Our priority is to provide our students with an outstanding experience during their time at LJMU and these new facilities are the perfect environment for study, research, sports and fitness and access to the wide range of student wellbeing and support we offer.
