Bob is holding 500 LODE tokens, so he can engage into the Reward Generator contract by staking any share of that balance and benefit from claimable rewards.The first step of this process is actually staking those LODE tokens, for which he will receive an equal amount of VOT3 tokens. Let’s assume that he staked 400 out of 500 LODE tokens:
From time to time, and as long as rewards are deposited into the Generator, Bob will be able to see which share of those rewards are entitled to him.At any time, and provided those rewards are positive, he’ll be able to claim them, so that they are transferred to his wallet:
If Bob wants to engage into more benefits derived from a more intricate relationship with the Lode protocol (for example, buyingAUX orAGX assets at spot price on primary sales), he can lock his LODE balance for a period of six months. The balance will be automatically unlocked once that time period passes by.Assuming the minimum threshold to lock is 200 and that Bob locks 250 LODE tokens:
Any non-locked balance can be unstaked at any time by Bob.
According to the previous scenario, he could unstake as much as 150 LODE tokens. Upon that decision, Bob receives the balance in his wallet.
Assuming he unstakes 100 LODE tokens, this implies that an equal balance of VOT3 tokens are sent into the Generator to be burnt, then the display should look as follows:
