BRAND The CYCLE 4 Foundation believes in supporting what matters to individuals, and helps people make a difference for causes they care deeply about. CYCLE 4 works with organizations and groups to create fun and easy cycling programs. These programs empower individuals to raise awareness and funds for a cause that matters to them, while promoting health, wellness, and leadership. The organization focus primarily on cycling events, though our CYCLE4 division (CYCLE4). This re-branding project aims to enhance the senses of connection and community in the organization.

LOGO + WORDMARK The logo and wordmark are combined as a whole to represent the organization’s identity. The 4 is drawn in one stroke to represent “connection”, and the large size of it emphasizes on the notion of “cycling for your cause”. Also the round shape of the 4 mimics the outline of a bike wheel and a helmet as well. The typeface in the mark is Gotham, which is a geometric sans-serif typeface that matches the geometric element in the 4.

With divisionsâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; names These additional versions are designed to be used, when the names of three divisions need to be placed with the logo+wordmark.

SIZE Minimum sizes for web=118 pixels for print=0.5" *for web=130 pixels

For print application, the mark should appear no smaller than 1/2 inch in height (from the top to the bottom). For web application, the minimum size is 118 pixels. *minimum size of mark with divisions’ names.

Buffer space The space around the mark is no less than the height of the words “CYCLE”.

COLOURS Colours are selected from Pantone Matching System 速 (PMS)*. Colours are also shown with a CMYK breakdown for four-colour printing and an RGB breakdown for electronic media or web use. The colour can be chosen according to the application environment. Primary colours

FONT The font that used in the logo + wordmark is Gotham. Gotham is a geometric sans-serif typeface designed by Tobias Frere-Jones in 2000 in Hoefler & Frere-Jones Foundry. This font family comes in eight weights with accompanying italics. The following are four weights used in this branding.
