RENAULT DISTRIBUTION CENTER In this course we were introduced to the concept of tension and compression in the design process in the form of cable-supported structures. It tested our knowledge of physics and application skills. It also fostered group work and resourcefulness in model-making.

YEAR TWO
DOME MODEL OF AN 18 M BY 18 M PAV ILLION The purpose of this project was to demonstrate our knowledge about arches, domes, pendentives and unreinforced masonry to design and roof a multipurpose pavilion, 18x18m in size. For my model, I made use of a rib vault (cross vault) for my main pavilion covering and the division of four sub-spaces.

SECONDARY S CHOOL For this studio project, the brief was to propose a design for a Junior and Senior secondary school located at Onike, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria. In this project, we were tasked with creating a well equipped and funtioning secondary school in clusters on an existing primary school. The intent of my design, was to create a safe and secure environment that is conducive for the students, teachers and other users of this space whilstmaximizing the land space and adequately responding to the sloped site.

RESTAURANT ON L A K E L ANIER This project is a site-specific summer restaurant. It is located on lanier lake. For my design approach, I wanted a simple, but progressive and fuctional structure. I wanted the main attribute of the design to be the views. For the program, I have two eating areas; an open kitchen and other amenities to entertain guests.

G A LLERY IN M ARIETTA S QUARE Located at the Marietta Square, the main focus of this project was to house five large artworks of Claude Monet’s Water Lilly series. The new facility provides an exhibition space for Monet’s works.

SAUNA AND COLD PLUNGE This project is a sauna and cold plunge at Woodruff Camp in Morganton, GA. It tests the ability to design with constraints and the knowledge of architectural design and enclosure systems.
