LSS Newsletter Issue 05 Mar 31.03.12 Welcome to another issue of the LSS Newsletter, As if you hadn’t noticed by the recent weather we are enjoying a very hot start to Spring. It’s a great time to get out, take advantage of the longer days, celebrate and take some amazing outdoor images as we don’t know how long it will last. Thankfully March was an eventful month for LSS which made it very exciting to choose which content would feature within the 5th publication of the LSS Newsletter. It has been 4 weeks since the last newsletter which so far has been viewed over 33,900 times. Most recently LSS Studio Events & Meetups are being twinned and booked concurrently during a month. Duality seem to be associated with LSS a lot lately not only with booking events but also with creating concepts as Androgyny (reverse gender roles) was the celebrated theme for LSS Meetup No. 15 – Holborn Derelict Court House. NEWS LSS. Meetup No. 15 Holborn Derelict Court House (Androgyny) 11/03/12 The 15th LSS Meetup was another success held at the popular Holborn Derelict Court House. This was the second time that London Speedlite Scene had worked on location at this venue which lived up to everyone’s expectations especially for those who missed the opportunity to attend in July 2011. The Androgynous theme for the 15th LSS Meetup was inspired by the fashion industry and the derelict location. Since the human doll theme was such a success at the 14 th LSS Meetup another theme was the way forward for the group. A big thank you goes out to the makeup artists and hairstylist for which the shoot would not be complete if they had not worked so hard to prepare the models. Also it must be noted that the models were exceptional with arranging their own wardrobe for the shoot and the photographers for taking so many images and sharing with us on the LSS website and other online social media deserve a big round of applause.

NEWS LSS. Meetup No. 15 Holborn Derelict Court House (Androgyny) 11/03/12 The shoot wouldn’t be the same without the The Union Jack Dress Project 2012 worn by Cassie Leigh Wardle. This involved numerous photographers each having 30 to 60 minutes to photograph the dress in a tasteful / fashion manner and not contain any explicit material. NEWS LSS Studio Event No. 4: Latex Fashion Shoot with Alternative Model Amie Conradine 18/03/12
Photographer: Monika Schaible The 4th Studio Event hosted by London Speedlite Scene featured Amie Conradine, published alternative model. The theme was latex fashion with a twist of pin up added into the mix. Amie has enjoyed a great relationship with LSS previously attending the 9 th LSS Meetup at Murder Mile Studios she is the perfect alternative model with all the latex, pvc, piercings and tattoos in all the right places. NEWS LSS Studio Event No. 4: Latex Fashion Shoot with Alternative Model Amie Conradine 18/03/12 LSS Studio Events last the whole day with 4 separate slots for shooting time. Shooting lasts approx 2 hours for each slot with two photographers sharing the time consecutively. The event also featured Sarah Kawaii as a special guest supporting model. Sarah really added to the event so much so that we hope to see her working with LSS again soon..

NEWS Elect Model Management
Elect Model Management as part of their new Model Development Programme (MDP) continue to build the portfolios of impressionable and aspiring young models. Not long after LSS No. 14 where models were assigned to portray mindless dolls Shannen Marie Mulligan, Keri Ann Davison & Shelby runacre were all selected to model the Dolly Dare collection again with another twist. With makeup by Sue-Ellen the underlying theme of the shoot was mind control‌ which was to bring out the model’s expressions and creativity.

We also like to welcome MUA and body painter Natalie Couppas - Make Up Artist into the fold. Natalie attended her first LSS Meetup at No. 15 Holborn Derelict Court House and has impressed us so much in such a short space of time she has been booked again for the 5 th LSS Studio Event taking place in May. Natalie appears with self applied bodypaint in the photo above.

Ria Masih is a very experienced and majorly talented makeup artist who London Speedlite Scene is very proud to work alongside with. Ria’s first LSS Meetup was at No. 15 Holborn Derelict Court House where she worked on a number of models in record time. Ria appears in the photo above and below, she is known for her hard work, creativity and passion for the industry.

Personality Profile: Danni Rule LSS Events are loaded with talent. Danni Rule is one of those talented individuals. Danni is a captivating singer, energetic young model and has an extremely charming personality. She first came on the circuit with LSS at the 1 st visit to Holborn Derelict Court House, LSS Meetup No. 8 in July 2011 and has been a valuable presence ever since. LSS - When did you first get interested in singing? Danni Rule - I've always been a singer. I’ve sung in choirs and performances from early on, but have taken it to a professional level for about the last two years. LSS - How many singles have you recorded? Danni Rule - Loads, I've just finalised my album and got the green light for it by my label. I had to record over 40 tracks for it, and then the best 12 were selected. I love being in the studio and I'm in there three to four nights a week. LSS - When will your next music video be released? Danni Rule - I'll be doing my FIRST official video music video in April for my first single, a track called 'Why' with one of the biggest baddest video directors in London Digital Dan I’m proper excited about this one, anything that guy touches turns to gold! LSS - How does modelling fit into your schedule as an music artist? Danni Rule - I just love the camera, I'm a poser at heart. It fits in because the other models in Elect Model Management are so good to me and really easy to work with. The photographers in London Speedlite Scene are on point, and the make-up artists who represent Intense are a lovely and a lively bunch too!

Monika Schaible - Dear LSS, what can I say? We were in Ingatestone, LSS Meetup No. 12 in November 2011 and shooting. It was the first time I used off camera flash and was just hoping for the best. I loved the simplicity of the shot with the vases in the background and the blank steps. I thought it was a composition that would enhance the beauty of Veronika rather then compete. I liked the contrast of the roundness of the vases and the lines of the steps, keeping the colours muted.
