Social Media has come to the LIV D&E Committee!

Long Island Village Entertainment now has a page on face book. It will be used announce upcoming events, share photos, and accept comments. Simply log onto your facebook page and search for “Long Island Village Entertainment” and click the link to our page. Or type the this link into your web browser: https://www.facebook.com/longislandvillagedande. Then “Like” us so you will be up to date with all the information of LIV D&E! If you don’t have a facebook page, but would like to still know what is going on with the D&E Committee, send an e-mail to liventertainment@yahoo. com, and we will add you to our e-mail list. The D&E Committee would also like to thank everyone who has been coming out to support our Saturday night events this summer. The Saturday night’s Karaoke by the Pool have been a great success, and the Red Solo Cup Dance really packed ‘em in! Donations made during karaoke have been used to purchase new microphones, and we are currently in the process of getting new music to broaden our collection. The proceeds from the Red Solo Cup Dance went to the Golf Course Beautification Fund. The proceeds from the ‘One for the Ditch’ dance will be donated to the pool funds!

Thanks again to everyone who has been supporting the LIV D&E Committee!!!

D&E

I know the Summer D & E Committee isn’t done with you yet but - - - - I thought I should remind you to bring a few things with for the Winter Texan D & E fun. It might not seem like it, but we’ll all be heading to LIV before you know it! Let’s see. Find and bring that perfect Halloween costume for the Halloween Cocktail Party on October 31st. Bring lots of Christmas decorations so you can decorate your place and your golf cart. Don’t forget the lights. We like lot of lights. Fancy stuff for New Years Eve? Absolutely. Cowboy (girl) boots for Denim and Diamonds. Poodle skirt and Fonzie shirt for 50’s dance. And don’t forget the grass skirt for the Luau (and stuff to decorate your table so you can win the big prize). This month is just a “heads up”. Next month I’ll give you more details. Can’t wait to see all of you really soon!

GOOD NEIGHBOR REMINDER

At the last Board meeting Mr. Freeland informed us that LIV residents have allowed their pets to use his yard. Many of our residents allow their pets to run on his property and he has no problem with that. He does however want our residents to be responsible, stay off his lawn, and pick up after their pets. He would also like to inform our residents that any barricaded or fenced area on his property should be considered “Off Limits”. Let’s all be Good Neighbors
