Once in every blue moon, In the far reaches of space, A great event invites all To a galaxy-wide race.
LUCAS
The challengers came in teams, Traveling from far away In spaceships and saucers Crossing planets and nebulae.
Lucas the astronaut arrived from planet Earth On his powerful rocketship to soon test his worth.
At the starting line, lucas scoped his competition Two cheeky green Martians brimming with ambition, Sun wave surfers from the Mercury station, The Brother Bears from the Ursa constellation, mari and ian, his best friends Both ready for exploration.
And then…uh oh…last race’s winners, Izzard and Lizzard, the twin reptilians! “Hey lucas, Earth boy!” The Lizzards hissed from their space jeeps “Where’sss your co- loser?” (Gosh, they gave lucas the creeps) TEAM lucas
“Not this year, Reptiles!” Said a furry Labrador It was Lucas’ co-pilot Orbit From constellation Canis Major Orbit jumped on the second seat And said “I’m here mate! Traffic in the Solar System, So sorry I’m late!”

As the racers took their positions, a space turtle arrived in a zigzag To make an announcement as he raised his green flag. “Welcome all racers this side of the Milky Way! I wish you all good luck and speed for today!
For every pit stop you shall be given A clue pointing you where your vessel must be driven. The first at the finish line wins a gold medal and a vacation To the Starburst Galaxy with five-star accommodation!�
The first clue was seen on their rocketship screen:
Hello Lucas This is clue number # 1... Among the planets I’m the big guy, I have no ears and no mouth But I do have one eye.
“That one’s easy!” Lucas said. “Our first stop is JUPITER, it has an eye colored red! They landed on the giant planet ahead of the other teams, Izzard and Lizzard were close behind and up to no good it seemed.

By an arrow painted blue floated their next clue:
Orbit laughed out loud, “I passed that along the way! That’s the asteroid BELT, I almost crashed into it today!”. As their rocketship took off, lucas sensed something astray He turned around and saw the Lizzards Turn the arrow the other way!
“Hey! That’s cheating!” cried lucas, Turning red and angry, “You call it cheating,” laughed Izzard, “We call it S-s-s-s-strategy!” So lucas and Orbit Turned back to fix the pointer But the Lizzards sped ahead To the next stopover.
On a metallic rock the next clue was stuck:
“Hmm..a telephone and bell both ring! And so…To the planet with 9 rings! To SATURN we shall go!” Now around the ringed planet Hung the racers’ next clues Plus bonus speedy space rocks To give their energy tanks a boost.
But oh no! The Lizzard’s jeep hovered While they collected all the booster rocks “S-s-see you at the finish line!” The Reptilians mocked.
Orbit gruffed, “Don’t mind those two, We’ll catch up with the next clue.”

“Why, the full MOON gives a great view especially on a clear night! “We should hurry,” said lucas, The Lizzards are out of sight” On the bright side of the moon They saw a friendly face “I’m the man on the moon!” he said. “I hold the last clue of the race!

A long time ago, People called me god Fly near me for your last stop But not too close, I’m really hot!
“To the SUN we shall go!� They blasted past Mars, Said hello to Earth and Venus and many stars.

Between Mercury and the sun was the final destination Friends and fans gathered inside an oasis space station.
lucas and Orbit were coming close, With the Sunwave Surfers at their heels, The Martians were far behind, And the Bears were fixing their wheels.
Suddenly, mari and ian cried out “Help!!! Help us someone!” The Lizzards emptied our energy tanks And now we’re headed for the sun!” lucas and Orbit knew a detour Would mean losing to the bullies But they had to save their friends From melting down like cheese

And so, to mari and ian they flew And hurled a rope made of steel To steer their spaceship away from the sun And save their friends from their ordeal.
lucas and his furry co-pilot Turned their rocket back to the race But just as they were losing hope, A comet whizzed through space.
So lucas thought of a plan He hoped would not fail. He steered his rocketship ‘round And hitched on the comet’s tail.

They zoomed to the finish line and took their rivals by surprise As they jumped out of the comet in time to win first prize. lucas saw familiar faces by the finish line all cheering While the losing Lizzards were left to the crowd’s jeering.
Then Orbit said, “Look! Outside the station!” A special prize in the sky for the race’s new champion. For being a true hero above winning the game A planet in the galaxy now bore his own name.
