Lots of success for Penistone at Travellers 6
PENISTONE Footpath Runners picked up several prizes at the Travellers Six mile road race which starts and ends in Denby Dale.

Stand out performance came from Scott Hinchcliffe, who was the race winner and also broke his own course record in a time of 32-52.
Other category winners from Penistone were: first over-45 man Shaun Dimelow 38-08; first over-40 woman Rebecca Timms 45-02; first over-70 woman Barbara Haigh 59-05; first over-60 man Alan Knox 46-15; first over-70 man Keith Gordon 51- 30. The Penistone men’s team of Scott Hinchcliffe, Gareth Cooke and Shaun Dimelow picked up first team prize.
