On Monday October 29, Joel Willott, of Woodthorpe Crescent, Sheffield, was found guilty of burglary. This followed a five-day trial.
The court heard how at around 4.55pm on Friday April 13 of this year, Willott burgled a property in Warren Lane, Chapeltown.
One of the occupants caught Willott in the kitchen of the property. She shouted at him and he fled from the scene, carrying two handbags that contained credit cards, cash and other items.
