Two of the original members were presented with a beautiful flower arrangement at the special meeting on Monday June 10.
Joyce Draycott and Joan Stapleton were met with fond applause as they collected their gifts, but unfortunately a third original member, Brenda Hickey, was too unwell to attend.

RE-OPENED OCTOBER AFTER EXTENSIVE REFURB! The King & Miller in Deepcar was acquired by Bradfield Brewery in April 2018 and re-opened its doors to customers in October 2018 after an extensive refurbishment. With Farmers Ales on the bar at £2.50 a pint, a snooker table and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, the pub has been greatly received. Family friendly and dog friendly too, the pub has a great ambience where everyone is welcome.
