FIVE juniors from Penistone Footpath Runners represented Barnsley at the South Yorkshire schools cross country championship at a very windy Campsall near Doncaster.
Hugh Mackie claimed first place in the Year 10 and 11 Boys race and in the process gained selection to represent South Yorkshire in the English Schools cross country championships. A great achievement by Hugh.

A large contingent of Penistone Footpath Runners made the short journey to Dewsbury to take part in the Dewsbury 10k which is a fast course and ideal for those looking for a personal best.
