IN an attempt to support businesses affected by the coronavirus pandemic, the Government is running the ‘Eat out to help out’ discount scheme throughout August.
Local are as ever encouraging you to shop local and support local businesses. You can get the discount at a wide range of local restaurants, cafés and pubs.
This gives people across the UK a 50% discount, capped at £10 per person, on meals out from Monday to Wednesday.
The 50% discount applies to sit-down meals and nonalcoholic drinks across the entire menu but it doesn’t apply to takeaways, alcohol and service charges.

there’s no limit to the number of times you can claim. The discount is applied automatically when you pay so you don’t need to do anything to get it.
