The students were showed how to use the speed guns and even had a go themselves, monitoring Cedar Road.
On a positive note, the majority of vehicles were within the 20mph speed limit and ‘good parking advisory tickets’ were left on cars that were parked considerately.
The ‘Mini Police’ is an innovative and exciting scheme for Year 5 pupils who have been nominated by their schools to take part in a series of sessions delivered by PCSO’s. The topics they cover include the dangers of speeding, anti-social behaviour, and online safety.
