KEEPING UP WITH KERRY In a difficult week, Kez finds joy in podcasts, workouts and a very special birthday

BIRTHDAY GIRL

SILVER VIXEN

Sharon Osbourne’s new hair reminds me of Meryl Streep’s character, Miranda Priestly, in The Devil Wears Prada. It’s all I think of when I look at her!

Don’t get me wrong, I loved Sharon’s iconic red do – it warmed her face. But I think this new platinum look really suits her. She’s a prime example of a woman ageing gracefully. Mind you, she easily looks 20 years younger than 67. It’s been a tough and reflective week and it made me want to squeeze my loved ones that little bit tighter. So I made sure Heidi got an enormous cuddle on her 13th birthday last Thursday. She had a great time – we bought her an iPhone as a present and took her out for a special breakfast and then to the cinema.

I can’t believe Heidi’s a teenager now – she doesn’t look old enough! I think she’s going to be a late bloomer as she’s still very small. In fact, she’s the absolute image of my mum Sue when she was younger. Same looks, same build… you can see where those genes went!

I recently shared a cheeky post of Ryan and myself working out. It always helps to laugh in sad times and seeing as we genuinely do have a giggle when we train together, I thought it was a sweet thing to do. Seriously, how lucky am I to have a man who helps me look and feel my best?! I tl h d h k t f STRONG MAN

Seeing Sharon’s big transformation makes me pine for my pink hair. I had it done again recently but it didn’t last very long, which is a shame because I love feeling pretty in pink.

I always feel more youthful and fun with it, so I think a trip back to the salon is in order.

I was shocked to see Olympian Victoria Pendleton discuss her tattoo trolling at the hands of an old lady. Apparently this woman approached her in the street to tell her that her new sleeve tattoos “weren’t very ladylike”.

Er, sorry love, but it’s not exactly ladylike to accost someone in the street with an opinion they didn’t ask for. I love tattoos and I think Vic looks fantastic – in fact I’m jealous and now I want to get a sleeve done too.

As we should all have learnt lately, there’s no point in bullying someone just because you don’t agree with

their choices. Victoria, you know it already, but let me reiterate – you look fantastic! TATT’S ENOUGH!

It was refreshing, if a little unexpected, to see the Duchess of Cambridge featuring on a podcast about motherhood, but I thought she came across really well.

She appeared on Giovanna Fletcher’s show Happy Mum, Happy Baby and discussed mum guilt and how “terrifying” it was to have her first baby. Kate, I can totally relate to that!

There are so many things I did with Molly that I wouldn’t do now. For instance, dressing babies in designer clothes when they end up growing out of them within weeks, or spending loads on presents they’ll never remember. Plus, I recall feeling so guilty about leaving her to go to work, but by the time I had five kids I was begging to leave the house for a break! I RELATE TO KATE
