TASTE SOME Sweet Summer Profits
If there is one clear trend for 2024, it’s nolo, or no- and low-alcohol drinks. The interest around LOW AND ALCOHOL-FREE COCKTAILS IN PARTICULAR, IS SET TO SOAR THIS SUMMER Make sure you set up your venue for the sweet taste of summer success.
TOP TIPS FOR MAKING A WORLD CLASS MOCKTAIL*:
Stray away from the sweet tooth – most mocktails are super sweet but they don’t need to be.
77% of Brits say they are moderating their alcohol intake**
Keep things fresh – treat non-alcoholic cocktails in exactly the same way you treat regular cocktails and spruce them up with a fresh garnish.
Don’t hold back on theatre or glassware, these are just as important with non-alcoholic cocktails as their alcoholic counterparts.
Move away from designing mocktails for kids, they should taste like they have been made for adults. Add more bitterness to make a sipping drink.
Keep the look simple, minimalistic and more subtle. Trends have moved away from bright over the top mocktails.
