Goffs use only the best ingredients in its beers and sources locally wherever possible. Their beers are made with local Cotswold water, finest malts, top quality hops, and traditional brewer’s yeast. Their head brewer and his team come up with the recipes, using over 20 years’ experience they work out the perfect blend of malts, hops and other ingredients using traditional methods.

Real ales from the Dales. Wensleydale Brewery was born in 2003 at the Foresters Arms in Carlton. A small one-barrel plant was soon overwhelmed by its growing reputation and the brewery was moved to a Manor Farm Barn in Bellerby with a larger 5 barrel set up. Strong foundations and a fresh approach saw the brewery continue to grow and expand and move to Leyburn with all brand new, sparkling equipment for a 12-barrel plant was installed.
