CELEBRATING TWO G

Lori’s Gifts celebrated two Grand Openings this month! The first ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on January 20 at Kendall Hospital in Miami to celebrate the opening of Store #650. Our field leadership team gathered with leaders of HCA Florida, hospital staff, and volunteers to cut the ribbon and welcome first-time guests.

Lori’s Regional VP Eric Harrison said, “From the start, the administrators and staff at Kendall have welcomed us so enthusiastically, exceeding our expectations. We are thrilled to share a helpful, positive, symbiotic relationship, and look forward to growing together.” Hospital Partner/Executive Resident Administrator, Rahat Verma, praised the shop’s layout, organization, and amazing variety, and thanked all of Lori’s team members who made the dream a reality,

and those who serve the guests with excellence. He said,“We are so excited to have Lori’s as a part of our family!”

The second ceremony took place on January 27 at Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA for Store #652. The opening was met with tremendous enthusiasm, because the gift shop, previously operated by hospital volunteers, had been closed for two years due to the pandemic.

Tonya Jones, Director of Patient Relations, said Lori’s is already exceeding our expectations! We are thrilled our patients, staff and visitors have this beautiful shop and amazing selection to enjoy and share with each other.”

Lori’s District Manager Dan Kuehn, said, “We were thanked many times for our partnership, and heard over and over how much they really loved our set-up and product selection.”

FIELD LEADERSHIP

Renni Little is a Lori’s District Manager for California and Nevada. In describing her passion for sales, Renni said, “What started as a part time sales associate position at 18, turned into a 30+ year obsession with retail sales.”

Renni spent 20 years with Rite Aid Drug, transitioning into 10 years with Stage Stores. The opportunity to step into a new side of retail presented itself and she moved into a leadership role with Lori’s Gifts. Renni said, “I have loved the challenge of learning the hospital gift shop environment — not only learning about Lori’s, but developing a relationship with our hospital partners.”

Renni sees herself as a coach, responsible for developing her team’s strengths, helping overcome obstacles, and fostering new leadership. Renni’s many years in retail have taught her that there is no “I” in team, but together, we can accomplish anything. She stated, “A well-coached team is a winning team, ready to give our store guests a refreshing, pleasurable shopping experience.” Rennni thrives on leading by example when vising stores, greeting each guest as they walk in the door, going that extra mile to help them find the perfect gift, and and watching guests leave with a smile on their faces.

LORI’ S LEADERS

“Yahoo!” Lori’s Gifts will hold its 2023 company Leadership Summit February 21st through 23rd in the “Wild West” setting of the famous Ft. Worth Stockyards and Rodeo headquarters. The Executive Leadership Team chose the location to give attendees from all across the country an authentic taste of Texas.

This year’s theme, “Make Your Mark,” references the Summit’s focus on

the development of habits, skills and qualities that set good leaders apart from excellent leaders who leave a lasting, positive mark on the lives of others.

The conference provides time for Lori’s executives and team leaders to fellowship, celebrate business victories, discuss best practices, and recalibrate for a new year filled with new success stories driven by great teams with impeccable leadership.
