SPRING 2024 : A BRI E F M E SSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT

Welcome to the Spring issue of our new quarterly newsletter. Every 3 months, we’ll share stories of how we are fulfilling Lori’s mission of providing comfort and joy (when needed most) through our people, products and services. In this issue, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new website, which is sure to be a highly effective tool for communicating with Partners, Hospital staff, Guests, and Vendors about all we have to offer.

One of the sections I am most proud of is the “Make Your Mark” News tab. Once a month, we nationally recognize a store team member who exudes our Mission to provide joy and support. These inspiring stories showcase how our team members make an impact on those they serve everyday. It is my honor to bring you our message of Comfort, Inspiration, and Community.

NATIONAL NURSES DAY/WEEK PREPARATIONS

National Nurse’s Week begins each year on May 6, National Nurse’s Day, and ends on May 12, Florence Nightingale’s birthday. Nurses are at the very heart of every medical setting, working tirelessly to comfort, care, and save lives. This week is the perfect opportunity to give back to those who give so much. We prepare months in advance by finding the perfect nurse-specific gifts at great prices, and decorating our stores. We’ve also teamed up with all of our Partners, who will each select a deserving nurse to receive 1000 Lori’s REWARDed points (a $65 value)!

Honor your favorite nurses with gifts designed just for them, like fun badge reels, decorative figurines and plaques. Long shifts on their feet? Compression socks and foot-soothing kits make great gifts. Energize tired muscles with a mini massager, and give a boost with sweet treats, healthy snacks and their favorite water, soda and energy drinks. In a hurry? Grab a thoughtfully curated gift basket on the go!
