Irvine, Calif. - The Los Angeles Rams (2-1) take to the road for their final 2016 preseason contest as they square off against the Minnesota Vikings (3-0) at the newly opened U.S. Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis.

W, 28-24 W, 21-20 L, 17-9 KCBS/KFTR

RAMdom FACT Following the final preseason game versus the Vikings, the Rams will complete the final move of their initial phase of relocation to Southern California. Beginning in March, the organization moved from St. Louis, Mo., to Oxnard, Calif., then onto UC-Irvine for training camp and finally to their permanent-temporary facility at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, a total of nearly 2,100 miles in six months.

In their first road contest of the season, the Rams were able to control the tempo of the game early against the reigning World Champion Denver Broncos. The Los Angeles defensive unit forced three-and-outs on its first two possessions. The Broncos managed just 13 first quarter rushing yards, the seven times they challenged the Rams on the ground, resulting in 1.9 yards per carry. Offensively, Los Angeles rushed for 150 yards on 26 carries, gashing the Denver defense for 5.8 yards per rush, aided by a 73-yard scamper by Terrence Magee. Rams starting QB Case Keenum continued his strong preseason showing, as he connected on eight-of-12 passes for 77 yards and led two of the three Rams scoring drives. In the preseason, Keenum has completed 75 percent (18/24) of his passes for 188 yards and one TD with no interceptions to post a 111.1 QBR through three preseason games. K Greg Zuerlein connected on his first field goals of the preseason, as he hit on kicks from 29-yards, 38-yards and 48-yards to score the only Rams points of the contest.
