Los Angeles - Fresh off the heels of a home opening win over NFC West foe, Seattle Seahawks, the Los Angeles Rams take to the road for their first of three East Coast trips they will make during the 2016 season. The Rams kickoff back-to-back road contests in the Sunshine State against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Last week, in their first game in Southern California in 22 years, Los Angeles showcased its defense as it held Seattle to just just three points and the Seahawks’ rushing attack to just 67 yards (2.8 yards per rush) on 24 attempts. The Rams defensive front found themselves in the backfield all afternoon as the duo of DEs Robert Quinn and William Hayes each corralled Russell Wilson for a sack. Offensively, Los Angeles was led by QB Case Keenum and WR Kenny Britt. Keenum completed 18-of-30 passing attempts for 239 yards, while Britt hauled in six catches, resulting in 94 yards. The biggest defensive play was saved for the end of the ballgame. Seattle’s offense got the ball with 1:53 remaining, trailing by six points. The Seahawks drove to the Rams 27-yard line before LB/S Mark Barron wrapped up WR RB Christine Michael and LB Alec Ogletree came flying in to force and recover a fumble, cementing the Rams triumphant return to Los Angeles.
