From Nepal to Clunes
SOME people have fascinating life stories. And some people are generous enough to share these amazing personal journeys with us. One such author, Jono Lineen, has written a book about his pilgrimage across the Himalayas. Into the Heart of the Himalayas is the recount of Jono’s 2700km hike across the world’s highest mountains. This four-month adventure started out as a personal challenge, but helped him deal with the tragic loss of his younger brother in ways he couldn’t have imagined. Jono Lineen will be a special guest at the Clunes Booktown Festival. Hear him speak about the book on Saturday May 3, at the Warehouse (36 Fraser St) 1:45pm-2:45pm, Sunday he will discuss ‘Landscape and Story’ 10am – 11am. Be motivated, moved and inspired. For more info on this, and many other guest writer presentations go to clunesbooktownfestival.com.au.

Booktown is coming (so is Winter)
YOU know… once upon a time there were no screens. BELIEVE IT KIDDOES! And in the dark pre-screen-era what did us human types do? Well, we basically all got about like they do in Game of Thrones. Oh the debauchery!! Luckily someone invented screens or we’d have someone like Joffrey running the country. RIGHT! Gratuitous GoT references aside, life pre-screens (and illegal GoT downloads) involved BOOKS people! And lots of them. Before Google there was a thing called the library and before tablets there were glorious leather-bound tomes, great works and words on paper. Books. The original thing to put on a bookshelf, are celebrated and honoured in the much loved annual Clunes Booktown Festival. Clunes is an internationally recognised Booktown every day of the year. Usually, the tiny town of Clunes is home to eight permanent bookshops, But once a year, the Booktown festival welcomes more than 50 book traders to town, for a wild weekend of words and workshops, stories and speakers, for young and old. This year, the festival will be held Saturday, May 3, and Sunday, May 4. Thousands upon thousands of second-hand, vintage and collectable books of all genres will be for sale. Children’s Booktown will feature a wonderful program of exciting booky events for kids, (based on the CBC award winning book Tom the Outback Mailman). Booktown is proud to present oodles of exciting guest speakers, such as Alex Miller and Henry Reynolds who were just awarded the 2014 Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards for Fiction and Non Fiction (respectively). This year Booktown features a special Book Artist’s expo: ‘Biblio’. Nine national and international book artists will be at Biblio to discuss their wonderful works, and examples of the finest artist books from The University of Melbourne and State Library of Victoria will be on display. Turn your screens off and get back to Booktown. Entry is just $5. For more information and the full Booktown Program visit Clunesbooktownfestival.com.au.

Spudfest 2014
a feastival of potatoes
GOOD things come out of the ground around here. Of course there’s the mineral water that the region is famous for, with Australia’s highest concentration of mineral springs bubbling away under our feet. Then there’s a little thing called gold, - you might’ve heard of it, a heavy yellow rock, (apparently important…?) and finally, (but worthy of equal glory…) the humble potato. For generations, our rich red soil has produced kabillions of those wonderful starchy brown lumpy things. They grow here beautifully, and in Trentham each year they celebrate the humble spud at the Great Trentham Spudfest! This annual community celebration will be held Saturday, May 3. It’s a day of spudtacular family fun when the potatoes take over the town. Quarry Street Reserve is transformed to The Spud Hub, with loads of kids’ activities like spud sack racing, digging for spuds, a jumping castle and Spudman. The Kipflers will be performing live. There’ll be market stalls and great food (hello, potato deliciousness) as well as live music all day, games and activities, roaming entertainers, animals to pat and say hello to – or ride, a photographic exhibition, historic displays, the Trentham Station Market and the Spudtacular Dinner at the Cosmo Hotel. (See page 8 for details.) And it wouldn’t be Spudfest without loads of perfect local spuds for sale, in every colour and shape imaginable, fresh picked and still covered in earth. This year, Spudfest will see the Trentham Historical Society present Conniptions at the Cosmo. From 11am – noon, step back in time to 1919, and watch as the town’s Mounted Police are called when a pair of cheeky spud diggers reduce a public meeting to uproar. (Just keep your distance from the washerwomen, or you could end up drenched in suds.) Spudfest will run from 10am – 4pm. For more information and the complete program of spuderrific events go to trenthamspudfest.org.au or call 0419 897 660. 6

The fine art of fine wine
MOST of us like to consider ourselves a bit good at picking wine. Yeah? But in reality, when you have to pick a bottle for the dinner party held by that foodie friend-of-yours, geeez how hard is it?! Oh how we wish we knew a sommelier! The Argus Dining Room (124 Main Road, Hepburn Springs) has a very clever sommelierin residence, Jeremy Shiell. Jeremy knows his stuff and will be your expert wine guide at the Wine and Harvest dinner (as part of the Daylesford Macedon Produce Harvest Week Festival). Jeremy will be serving superb local boutique wines, matched to a six course degustation, prepared by Executive Chef David Willcocks. (Take that foodie friend!) Meet Jeremy for welcome drinks then head to the private dining room for your exclusive dining experience. Saturday, May 3, at 6pm. Bookings essential, call: 5348 2202. Potaterrific
spudeliciousness
CARB-o-phobes, avert your eyes. Trentham’s Spudfest is here, and proudly spruiks and celebrates the oh-so-mighty spud. Each year at this popular potato party the Great Trentham Spudfest Spudtacular Dinner is held – this year at the Cosmopolitan Hotel, (Corner Cosmo Rd and High Street) Saturday, May 3, from 7pm. Dinner celebrates the world’s most wondrous tuber and gently places the glorious spud upon a pedestal where it so belongs. This is the one night of the year where the common spud ain’t so humble. Tickets to the Spudtacular Dinner are $75pp. You will be served spudelicious dishes of delight, inspired by and using the finest spuds in the region. There will be live music, (hoping for the Monster Mash or perhaps a little bit of ‘One Potato, Two Potato’… fingers crossed), drinks at bar prices and bookings essential. For more info call The Cosmopolitan Hotel (5424 1516) or go to trenthamspudfest.org.au. 8

Don’t be shelf-ish donate your books
IF YOU’RE anything like anyone, you probably have a few books collecting dust on the shelves at home. We get it, it’s a bit excellent to have a personal library. The more books you have, the brainier you look, (and probably are)… But, how long has it been since you’ve actually read the books on your shelves? Is it time for a book cull at your place? Uh-huh. We thought so. Daylesford Primary School is hosting their annual Book Fair in August, and they are collecting books now. Scan your shelves for books you no longer want and donate them to the school Book Fair to help them fund their literacy program. They are particularly looking for children’s and young adults’ books, but any good quality books will be gratefully accepted. Deliver your pre-loved books to Daylesford Primary School, (102 Vincent Street) during school hours (Monday to Friday). More info 5348 2480.
A masterclass in deliciousness
YOU’VE watched enough cooking shows to know that tempered chocolate doesn’t mean your Freddo Frog is in a bad mood. Well done you. If you think you’re ready to take your kitchen skills to the next level, you might be ready for the Autumn Masterclass at Lake House. Each season, Alla Wolf-Tasker welcomes some of Australia’s best chefs to share a few tips and tricks and kitchen wizardry in the state of the art demonstration kitchen at Lake House. As part of Harvest Festival, on Sunday, May 4, Philippe Mouchel, Grant King, Sharon Flynn and Karl Firla will lead a full day of demonstrations and foodie discussion. There’ll be recipes, tastings, tea, coffee, a baguette lunch and wine. This full day of foodie fabulousness starts at 9:30 and concludes at 4pm… (what on earth will you cook for dinner that night??) Cost is $195pp. For more info and bookings call Lake House on 5348 3329 or visit: lakehouse.com.au. 10

Winter Yoga Retreat go with the flow
THE villages around here are well regarded for offering tired and stressed out peeps a place to unplug, unwind, relax, reconnect and re-energize. A completely gorgeous Mother’s Day
WE HAVE a (not-so) secret town crush on Castlemaine. Just half an hour north of Daylesford, Castlemaine is just a bit (um… completely) gorgeous. So, on Mother’s Day, we think Castlemaine would be a fab place to take your completely gorgeous mum. Yes? Yes. Buda Historic Home & Garden (42 Hunter Street) was built in 1861 and was home to the Leviny family for 118 years. These days Buda opens for public perusal almost every day of the year, including Mother’s Day. This year they will host a Mother’s Day afternoon tea, (2pm – 4pm) followed by a talk and tour of the historic house and Buttonalia exhibition. Dress up, share fancy home made cakes with your mum, have a cuppa and have a completely gorgeous afternoon. Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 11. Tickets are $25pp and bookings are essential. Go to trybooking. com/EQMT to book yours. For more information go to budacastlemaine.org or call 5472 1032. 14

Eurovision
douze pointe
AUTUMN leaves? Pfft. Frosty mornings? Whateverrr. You know what this month is really all about? One word people. Eurovision. Oh yes. This year the poptastic brilliance of the Eurovision Song Contest is coming to us from Copenhagen Denmark, and will be broadcast on SBS One, (sequins, pyrotechnics, mullets and all) Friday, May 9, to Sunday, May 11, from 7:30pm. What better way to stay warm than preparing yourself to stay indoors for uber ballads, genre defying pop awesomeness, a bit of traditional (and not so traditional) costume and song, loads of divas, hot backing dancers, glitter, and no doubt a smidge of Scandinavian metal. If you are new to the phenomenon, your Eurovisionary hosts Julia Zamiro and Sam Pang will gently explain to you the importance of key changes and wind machines. For history lessons and party inspirations head to sbs.com.au.
A Royal High Tea fit for a mum
HOW good are mums? Mums deserve lots of treats. Oh look over here… Mother’s Day is fast approaching! What a happy coincidence for mums everywhere! Sooo, no pressure, but what are you going to give the woman who brought you into the world? ‘Oh thanks for giving me life mum, here have card and a scratchie’ – ain’t gonna cut it sunshine. OK, here’s a hint, she wants to be told how awesome she is, and she wants happy kids showing her the love. Gifts? Sure… but no ‘housework’ appliances. Got it? A great place to start is a Royal High Tea at Grange Bellinzona (77 Main Rd, Hepburn Springs). From noon, the ribbon sandwiches will be served, followed by Bellinzona’s fig and honey scones, delish and dainty petit fours, a glass of bubbles and mum’s choice of coffee and specialty teas. Mother’s Day High Tea is Sunday, May 11. Cost: $49, kids aged 5-12: $25. Bookings essential. Call Grange Bellinzona for details: 5348 2271. 16

A big buzz
about Small Holdings
DAN and DAN are kinda household names around here. Daniel Melbourne and Daniel Clarkson are well known for their fine work in the kitchen and restaurants around this neck of the woods. And in Malmsbury (very near to our neck of the woods) the Daniels have recently opened the doors on a deliciously exciting new venture: Small Holdings, at 90 Mollison Street. Small Holdings is in an historic church building tucked under a magnificent old oak tree. The building had a previous life as a café and came complete with an old AGA cooker. Hellooo… A church with an AGA?? Could it be more perfect? They set about creating a rustic country menu and before the chalk dust on the menu board had settled, people were banging on the doors for a table. Small Holdings showcase amazing local produce in their dishes, we’re talking low food miles, paddock to plate delectable slow food, and as the thermostat drops to Antarctic as we slip into winter, the mighty AGA oven will get a work out, with rich slow braises cooking away, whilst hearty winter soups keep warm on the stovetop. (FYI... on a cold day… best seat in the house is next to the AGA.) Daniel creates all manner of baked deliciousness and sweet treats for a quick bite with a coffee, (lost recommends the Portuguese tarts baked in the AGA… as we seriously still recover from the monumental deliciousness). The brunch menu (9am-noon) starts with a Bloody Mary. Word. The lunch menu changes daily depending on what’s available and amazing, (…aaand let’s face it, it is ALL available and amazing). The dinner menu changes weekly. And we hear with the success of the Harvest Festival Cassoulet Dinners the Dans hosted last month, more shared cassoulet feasts could feature on the menu soon. Small Holdings is open for brunch, lunch and all day grazing Thursday to Sunday, and dinner Friday and Saturday nights. For more information visit smallholdings.com.au. Wishing you a
very pink Mother’s Day
MOTHER’S Day is a big, pink, warm and fuzzy day on calendars everywhere. On some calendars it’s pinker than others, however, as mums and daughters, fathers and sons don the pink and pull on their runners for the annual Mother’s Day Classic. The Mother’s Day fun run and walk is a tradition in many households all around the nation. Last year over 130,000 Australians took part. The Mother’s Day Classic raises vital funds for breast cancer research. This awesome community event will be held in our region too, with walks/ runs held locally in Woodend (Woodend Children’s Park 4km and 8km events), Clunes (outside the RSL Fraser St, 3km and 6km events) and Ballarat (around Lake Wendouree 6km and 12km). Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 11, and registrations will be taken online or on the day. Adult entry is $20. (Family registrations available.) For all the info and online registration go to mothersdayclassic.com.au.
Every day is a good hair day
WE HEAR people are more likely to cheat on their partners than their hairdresser. Once you find ‘The One - Your Life Hairdresser’ you never want to let them go. Heaven forbid they should change salons or worse... professions... *Gasp!* Local lass Sali Alexander has been snipping, styling, colouring and coiffing for about 35 years (yeah, wow). After a brief sojourn with the kiddies at childcare, Sali is back in front of the mirrors, scissors in hand, taming the tresses of Daylesford at the cutest salon in town, Sal’s Salon. (Out the back of Moss & Burrows, 22 Raglan Street.) Sali offers cuts and foils, colours and perms, and other hair bits and bobs at lovely locals rates: $35 trim and blow wave, $22.50 guys cuts, and kids cuts (to 14 years old) $10. (Sal gets a big rap from the littlies in town.) The salon is open Mon-Fri (closed Tues) and late on Mon/Wed/Thurs. Sat by appointment. For bookings phone Sali: 5348 4661. 18

Lavender bubbles
and happy harvesters
SERIOUSLY, could this place BE any more stunning in Autumn? COULD IT? By now, the trees have (pretty much) completely lost it and are throwing off their bright leafy accessories to bare their sticks, twigs, trunks and all. You go trees. Nude up. We are comfy with that, (…just don’t expect us to join in… it’s freaking cold out there.) While we bask in the beauty of late autumn colour, autumn harvests are happening everywhere: in backyard vegie patches, farms and community gardens, and at one of prettiest places in the ‘hood; Lavandula Swiss Italian Farm. Sunday, May 11, Lavandula celebrates harvest and the bounty of the land at their Autumn Harvest Festival. It is a day of food, family and fun at picturesque Lavandula. The day is celebrated in the tradition of the original Swiss Italian immigrants. Music will fill the air, whilst the farm hands pickle and preserve olives in demonstrative workshops for all. Ripe farm fruit will be bottled, and made into sticky sweet jams, feast on Italian sausages, chestnuts, sample olive oils, watch lavender distilling or just sit back in the gardens and sip a glass of lavender champagne. Can you even cope with the gorgeousness of it all? Take a tour of the original 1860’s stone farmhouse, learn about bee keeping and wander the gardens. Visit stalls and eat your way through an indulgent afternoon. A sculpture exhibition by local sculptors from the Spa Country Sculptor Association will be placed throughout the grounds to inspire your imagination. Of course, Sunday, May 11, just happens to be Mother’s Day as well, and Lavandula is seriously Mum heaven, so treat Mum to a fab day out on the Lavender bubbles and bring the whole fam. Lavandula Swiss Italian Farm is open 10:30am till 5pm on Harvest Day. Entry is $6 (adult) and $2 for school aged kids. For more info go to: lavandula.com.au or call 5476 4393. Lavandula is 10 minutes north of Daylesford at 350 Hepburn-Newstead Road. 20

The classic themes of Gods and Love…
THERE seems to be a bit of doom and gloom around at the moment yes? Unless you’re living in a big pink happy bubble (lucky you) chances are the stories on the news from far and wide are enough to bring you down a bit. It’s hard to keep the big pink bubble of happiness afloat sometimes when we are bombarded with constant images and stories of yucky stuff. When it gets a bit overwhelming a great thing to do is to look around you for moments of happiness. Richard Payne is a local artist who denies the darkness. He has a new exhibition of bright and wonderfully uplifting images called Of Gods & Love. Richard is a classical modernist artist who uses his skills to draw us into his world of luminous colour, movement and joy. The classic themes within Greek Mythology are explored in his most recent works. And he has reworked these classic narratives to capture moments of positive energy and life in his signature bold colours. These vivid and dynamic works are exciting and uplifting. Richard has studied the techniques of classical realism at the Florence Academy of Art and when he’s not in his Daylesford studio, he returns regularly to Florence and France to paint. The exhibition Of Gods & Love is on now until June 11, at the Convent Gallery (Daly Street Daylesford). Opening hours: Thursday – Monday 10am – 4pm, Tuesday and Wednesday closed. Entry $5. For more information go to conventgallery.com.au, or telephone 5348 3211.

The Third Saturday
market in your diary. (sorry)
WHAT do you do on the third Saturday of every month? Sure, this is a very tough and specific question, not like calculus difficult, but still, the answer requires some thought. If you still haven’t managed to think of an answer yet, here’s some think music… (put the page to your ear) no don’t… you’ll look like a turkey. OK, let us just TELL you what to do. On the third Saturday of every month the Creswick Market is held at Creswick Neighbourhood House (19-21 Victoria St). It is a super little market with loads of artisan goodness, handcrafted treats and treasures, fresh produce, crafty awesomeness, deliciousness, and more bespoke than you can poke your spoke at. There are over 60 stallholders, and the Creswick Market has more Facebook friends than you (Don’t feel bad – it’s only because you put this magazine to your ear before). This month’s market is on Saturday, May 17, 9am-1pm. For more info go to creswickmarket.com.au. 24

Magic happens
at the Edge of the Forest
THE Forest is a magical place. Everyone who ventures deep into the domain of tall trees and creatures has a spell cast upon them, and they fall in love with the forest forever. Living so close to the forest here, we all share the love of the forest and what lies beneath the leafy canopy. Cat McConnell lives right on the edge of the forest in Trentham, and draws inspiration from this magical part of the world to create the cutest soft critters and dolls, she then sells via Facebook, at markets, and now at Kuki (38 High Street, Trentham). Cat’s business is (appropriately) named Edge of The Forest, and her woodland inspired creatures are soft and cuddly and make perfect little friends for little people. Currently, the Edge Of The Forest family includes baby bunnies and baby foxes, owls and forest fairy dolls. All the Edge of The Forest critters are one of a kind and made from the softest minky fabrics, wool blends and cute cotton prints. There are bright little critters, and soft pastel pals and everything in between. The Edge Of The Forest Facebook page regularly holds Market Nights where Cat will post pics of new critters for sale, and it’s a furry forest frenzy as everyone tries to snap up a lovely little critter to take home. In a world where mass production factories churn out mega-tonnes of snore-some plastic crap, it’s wonderful to see a local gal hand creating unique little critters for our own unique little people. Check out the Edge of The Forest range at facebook.com/EdgeoftheForest or call in at Kuki. For more info email edgeoftheforest@bigpond.com. 26

Tricky trivia
and questionable quizzery
WE ARE mad about a trivia night. There’s something truly astounding about how much ridiculous crap is stored in the collective brains of friends and colleagues. It always bamboozles us just how much people know about early 1900’s cycling tournaments and native shellfish, but the thing we love best is when fellow trivia lovers have to fess up their tragic musical knowledge just for a point for their table. Kyneton Music Festival is hosting a trivia night at St Mary’s Hall (24 Hutton Street, Kyneton) on Saturday, May 17 from 7pm. $$ raised will help the Kyneton Music Festival be even more awesomer next year. Yes! The mighty DameFrank Moylan will be MC, drinks will be at bar prices and the questions will be awesome, tricky and hilarious (and hopefully a bit embarrassing for some). (Study up on your Richard Marx back catalogue.) Tickets $20 from Major Tom’s 57 Piper St. More info: like Kyneton Music Festival on Facey.

Live tunes on a Friday sweet music to our ears
THERE are people who learnt an instrument as a kid for five minutes and forgot it all (apart from Hot Cross Buns on the recorder… come on… it’s a classic) and then there are those who were actually good at music, stuck with it, cast aside their brown plastic recorders, joined bands and now make beautiful music in their adult lives. And for that, the less musically gifted among us are eternally grateful. Lizanne Richards is one such musically gifted person. Originally from Lady Grey, Lizanne has ventured out into solo-land and has released her very own self-titled debut album. It’s a fusion of jazz, blues and folky tunes with Lizanne’s dreamy vocals and haunting lyrics hooking you in. Plus! It’s an absolutely recorder-free zone. Phew! Witness Lizanne play her trusty guitar and sing her wonderful tunes at the Old Glenlyon General Store (63 Barkly St) Friday, May 23. For more info call the store on 5348 7922, or check them out on FB.
Accidently Hargraves Street Frente in Castlemaine
A FRONTRUNNER for ‘sweetest song ever penned’ is Accidently Kelly Street by Frente… yes you know the one. Polished pop perfection, served up with achingly cute vocals by Angie Hart. Even the typo in the title is cute (and somewhat annoyingly non-intentional which makes it even cuter.) Oh if only we were this cute in the early 90s. (Yes… EARLY 90s!) Frente released Marvin the Album in 1994. (Holy Moly that means Accidently Kelly Street is 21…!!) (Calm down Grandma, you’re still cool.) Frente are rolling out a national 21st Anniversary Tour, and performing Marvin in its 90s alt-poptastic entirety around the country, including a gig at Theatre Royal Castlemaine: Saturday, May 24. Tickets are $49 (show only 8pm) or $84 dinner and show (7pm). For more info and bookings go to theatreroyal.info or call 5472 1196. To see how cute Frente still are, join their 10,000 other likers on Facebook. Weeee! 30

Beautiful Beanies and haute hats
THERE comes a time in the year when you have to accept that you won’t be needing the sunscreen any more. Come on people, it’s May. But with the packing away of summer necessities comes the awesomeness of winter accessories. Namely: boots, scarves, coats, gloves and gumboots. And, the humble beanie. A beanie is where fashion meets functionality, atop your head. In these climes the beanie is a staple – but it helps if it looks good, and as we go to print, keen knitters are clickclacking away at creating A/W14’s cosy creations. Each year the Castlemaine CWA hosts a celebration of beanie brilliance – Beanie Affair. This year it will be held Friday, May 23, ‘til Sunday, May 25. Beanie Affair is a major textile event created to showcase the talents of local textile artists, to sell their handmade beanies and hats and hand spun yarn. There will be hundreds of handmade headpieces on display. This is no Nana event. Beanie Affair is for contemporary, creative crafty-types showing off their super skills and bespoke beanie goodness. If you’re not a knitter and would like a piece of beanie art to wear this winter, you’ll find something super spesh and unique at this year’s Beanie Affair. Most of the beanies and hats on display will be for sale, priced from $20 - $100. And if the beanie budget allows, the beanies created by masters of their textile craft will be sold for $100+. (Come on, you spend more than that on a fascinator and wear it once… There. Purchase justified.) If you happen to be adept with the needles, hooks and yarn, hop to! There’s still time to whip up a few pieces to display; entries close Tuesday, May 13. (Entry fee $20). For full entry details email castlemainecwa@gmail.com or telephone 0438 759 146. Beanie Affair will be held at the Market Building on Mostyn Street Castlemaine. For more information call 0438 759 146, go to beanieaffair.org.au, or like Beanie Affair on Facebook. 32

The Up Market Makers’ Market
SOME PEOPLE have magical buckets of time. They splash them about to create extra hours in the day. These bonus hours are used to make things, go to the gym, to do a bit of DIY and generally be amazing. The crafty folk among us definitely have magical buckets of time that they slosh around liberally to make their crafty creations. In this region there are loads of clever creatives who make beautiful bits and pieces. So it’s fitting that a local Makers’ Market be established to show and sell these wonderful artisan treasures. The inaugural Vincent Street Makers’ Market will be held Sunday, June 1, at Daylesford Town Hall, (76 Vincent St.) 10am – 4pm. The Market promises loads of high quality stuff: jewellery, clothing, kids’ products, handmade homewares, art and other brilliant bespoke bits from our region. To stay up-to-date check out the market at facebook.com/vincentstmakersmarket. lost the guide to where to find it

3 Seconds
till tea time
THE image of a tea drinker sometimes conjures visions of cute little permed Nanas with crocheted blankies over their knees. Awww. OK, let us smash that vision right outta the ballpark. Now picture two amazing intrepid mums passionate about life and health and tea, with a big business dream and enough drive and courage and chutzpah to make it happen. Daylesford’s resident tea lady Jodie FergussonBatte and buddy Vanessa Carslake (co-owners of She Tea and The Slow Tea company) had a huge dream… so they leapt aboard a flight to China and met with a genius scientist and lover of tea, and discovered a brand new green tea created with new food technology they want to share with Australia. Ta daaah! Introducing (drum roll please…) Green Tea in 3 Seconds! This green tea is a super pure extract of green tea. Using nano technology the tea is reduced to a powdered crystal form, removing any impurities in the process, leaving a pure tea that dissolves instantly in hot OR COLD water… Oooh iced green tea in three seconds. We likey. And you know who else likey? Michelle Bridges. Yup. (Ummm… you might’ve heard of her.) Jodie and Vanessa took their tea to Michelle’s 12WBT team and they went ERMAHGERD!! They loved it so much they blogged about it and featured it on their website. True. Story. One of the most exciting things about Green Tea in 3 is that because it dissolves instantly in cold water you can make it in your drink bottle at your desk, at the gym, or on the go, helping you stay hydrated all day long. And green tea is one of those super foody things loaded with antioxidants and things to make you altogether more awesome. Green Tea in 3 comes in three fruity infusions: Apple, Blueberry and Peach. For more information and to buy a box of ten Green Tea in 3 sachets, go to greenteain3.com.au. And a bit of local love… you can also buy Green Tea in 3 at Larder (57A Vincent St, Daylesford), or at Hepburn Post Office (108 Main Rd Hepburn Springs.) Thanks ladies, we’ll raise a glass of Green Tea in 3 to that! 34
