www.lotsfortots.co.uk
Visitors can meet the farm animals in the barns and in the fields, and get up close with the animal encounter sessions which take place throughout the day. Take a tractor trailer ride around the farm and watch pig racing. There is the new indoor play zone with drop slides for adventurous children and adults, and a special soft play area for toddlers. Outside the funfield area is packed with “have-a-go” activities including pedal go-karts, jumping pillow, sand pit, mini assault course and more. The National Forest Adventure Farm has announced plans for this year’s giant maize maze, one of the largest in Europe. The new farm park attraction and maize maze have teamed up with Aardman Animations, the creators of Wallace & Gromit and Shaun the Sheep, to create the world’s first Shaun the Sheep themed maze. The Shaun the Sheep Maize Maze is open daily from 16 July - 11 September. Shaun the Sheep will be visiting in person to officially open the maze on Saturday 16 July. New group brings Creative Little People together! What do milk bottle tops, sticky backed plastic, a knitted Scarecrow and great company have in common? They can all be found at Creative Little People sessions in South Derbyshire and East Staffordshire . Launched in January this year, Creative Little People, an art and crafts group, offers interactive creative play sessions for children and adults run by owner and founder, Sarah Bittner. Throughout the year, Sarah runs fully interactive, 45-minute sessions with a mix of games, music, stories, arts and crafts that are themed weekly for children from nine months to 11 years. Sarah explains, “We let grown ups and their little ones create together, laugh together, play together and then leave the mess to us!” Over the summer we will be running sessions for 9 months to 5 years as always, with extra sessions for 6 to 11 year olds during the school holidays. It’s £4 per session for each child with a maximum charge of £8 for 2 or more siblings (with the Loyalty Card and Gift Voucher you save yourself 10%). All sessions are pay-as-you-go with no advance booking required, so just turn up to a location that suits you best! For more information, call Sarah on 07784 613400 or visit www.creativelittlepeople. co.uk.
