Dinosaur World A dino-mite adventure on it’s way to Buxton! Young dinosaur enthusiasts can come face-to-face with astonishingly life-like prehistoric creatures during Dinosaur World at Buxton Opera House. Audiences are invited to grab their compasses and join intrepid explorers for the adventure of a lifetime. The “dino-drama” begins when explorer Miranda is washed up on an island where huge shapes move amongst the trees. Soon she realises this is an island unlike no other, a place where prehistoric creatures still roam free, 65 million years after they were thought to have died off planet earth. During the adventure families will meet a host of impressive creatures, including every child’s favourite flesh-eating giant, the Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Triceratops, Giraffatitan and Segnosaurus to name just a few!

Twistin’ Tots Fancy a job that fits round your children and family commitments? Celebrating eleven years this month, pre-school Derbyshire music group, Twistin Tots now looking to expand its Team and further develop its brand by recruiting a lively individual to run classes in the Matlock and Chesterfield area. “Classes are great fun and I meet loads of lovely people on a daily basis,” says Jacqui Davis, Owner and Founder of Twistin Tots. “No two days are ever the same – I could be delivering nursery sessions one day, public classes the next and working in a Play centre on the third. It’s great being my own boss and knowing that I can fit classes around school commitments – I’ve never had to miss that school Nativity because I was working!! Of course, it’s hard work but you get out what you put in and the rewards are there- I wouldn’t do anything else. “
