Woodland Beasties
Enjoy learning and exploring in the great outdoors.
Woodland Beasties is a forest school education company set up and run by us, Sarah and Val, two local mums and both fully qualified Forest School Practitioners. We believe in getting as many people outside, in all weathers, to enjoy learning and exploring in the great outdoors. Getting outdoors, getting offline and reconnecting with nature has significant benefits for everyone. Watching and helping children develop and grow, being part of some experiences that they will never forget is truly amazing! From toasting marshmallows on a camp fire to getting our toes out and squishing them in the mud to make mud art, we have so much fun, it’s really the best job in the world! We run a variety of different activities for all ages, from weekly playgroups, birthday parties to woodland experience days and family events. We’ve also just launched a new Saturday Morning Forest Club, which will run on the last Saturday of
each month. Our experience days and forest clubs provide a great opportunity for parents to enjoy learning forest school skills with their children, including fire lighting, campfire cooking, shelter building and using a variety of tools. Just remember, there’s no such thing as bad weather, as long as you’ve got the right clothes! We’ll be out rain or shine and we’d love for you to join us too.
