Universal Knitwears was envisioned by Mr Sudhir Bhatia in 1992 along with his sons, Mr Sahil Bhatia and Mr Suraj Bhatia. They have taken their initial experiences from specialized courses in knitting located within Germany and the UK, with the clear motivation of serving the international knitting industry with our world class products. Growing with strength and just, the company created a distinguishable niche for itself in the international knitting industry within a short period of time.
All the departments within the company are well controlled by the cohesive team, leading to a personal touch in every knitted product being produced by the company to give our clients the best possible quality. The company has a highly motivated and trained staff. Our company exports products to highly reputed brands around the world – Europe as well as America. Today the company has become internationally acclaimed manufacturers /Exporters of flat bed knitted products for example, sweaters and home furnishings.

KNITTING The knitting division of the company is well equipped with the latest upgraded instruments and computerized flat bed knitting machines imported from Japan, which enables all kinds of intricate knitting designs like Intarsia, Jacquard, and structured fabrics like moss stitch, garter stitch, Cables, Arans, pointels and fully fashioning. The company also has the most modern knitting machine which can make 3D and various kinds of unique effects in knitting, which can enhance the product value in the market known as SRY machines from Shima Seiki. The company also uses SDS series of design system, which are the most advanced software for doing any kind of knitting.
