ebster’s Dictionary defines community as “a unified body of individuals; or “a feeling of fellowship with others”. For Huitt-Zollars, community is all about bringing people together.
Whether it’s the places we live, the places we learn, the places we work or the places we play, we understand the importance of community. We’ve been designing and building communities for 70+ years. Creating this kind of success requires a proven expertise to turn the vision into reality — a reality of exciting venues that make sense economically, practically and environmentally. Successful development calls for the understanding and integration of many complex factors. Market demands, environmental constraints, transportation access and traffic, as well as the impacts of financing, scheduling and public involvement - our approach to each project seeks to integrate each of these factors into designs appropriate to their context, economically successful, and socially progressive. It’s called and it is characterized by an individual approach, without preconceptions, to serve the specific needs of the client by designing environments that enhance quality of life.
