by october I HAD THE FAILED CHANCE OF CONQUERING THE QUEEN CITY OF THE SOUTH WHEN I WAS IN THE SIXTH GRADE. I BOLTED THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET LAPU-LAPU, THE COUNTRY’S ESTEEMED HERO WHEN I LOST IN A NEWS WRITING COMPETITION IN THE REGIONAL LEVEL. EIGHT YEARS LATER, I DISCOVERED THAT THERE’S MORE TO LIFE THAN LAPU-LAPU IN CEBU. THIS IS WHAT I SAW.
