Inscribed in the Rhine basin, the peculiarity of the FrancoGerman border is to be natural, materialized by the Rhine, an internationalized and industrialized river. It was the place of confrontation of several ideologies by being the center of many changes, which greatly influenced a characteristic development (a 180 ° city). This boundary is therefore double, both physical and symbolic. Nowadays, the border of Strasbourg-Kehl is a representative example of the new cross-border cooperation policy initiated by the European Union. Indeed Strasbourg welcomes the European Parliament, inaugurated in 2004 the very symbolic Jardin des Deux-Rives and its footbridge Mimram. The city of Kehl is part of the planning process, and more recently, the ZAC des Deux-Rives was created on part of the territory of the Strasbourg’s harbour, with the project to extend the Strasbourg tramway to Kehl in 2017 and to build
new housing. This frontier, which has always been attractive because of its economic potential, but abandoned because it is dangerous (wars, floods of the Rhine, technological and industrial risks of the harbour, controlled migratory flows ...), today presents real land opportunities. These places, formerly managed as peripheral areas (harbor area, warehouses, industrial wastelands, etc.), can today be elements of continuity and centrality whose renewal requires a global cross-border vision. In order to consider the grip of this frontier-territory without its established limits, I have chosen to consider that the frontier-line has no meaning between the countries of the Schengen area and particulary here in Strasbourg. This postulate leads to an erasure of borders, a policy already implemented today but without a landscape reality. Erasing the border does not mean for me to create a «nonborder» but to value a territory by giving it its thickness, thus transgressing the border. In this context, from a «line-border» to a «border-place», how can landscaping be a tool to transgress the boundary? What new urban forms and types of governance would this initiate in order to assert cross-border identities?

You will see through these few pages that I have tried to make a proposal in order to restore the character of island alluvial to the île aux épis, on the scale of a cross-border territory, to develop a sustainable interdependence between city and port in order to assert the identity of this frontier. But in this logic of co-urbanism and therefore of co-dependency which can be difficult to imagine, who takes the risk and who assumes the consequences? How can we develop a collaborative and mutual approach to the economic, social and ecological bet that I propose? Indeed, what makes my proposal idealist is that cooperation is difficult, and therefore to imagine a common project on this scale seems impossible. Yet, if two countries succeed in building bridges and finance the most expensive tram extension in history, why two cities Strasbourg and Kehl, and two typologies of which governance is common, the city and the port, could not build the singular territory that connect them? Beyond the symbol of cross-border cooperation, let’s build our cross-border territories of tomorrow!

The castle of Kerguéhennec is a castle of the eighteenth century located in the Morbihan. It now houses a contemporary art center and a cultural meeting center. The order of the Domaine was to question the renewal of the site and its relationship with its territory. A meeting point between two landscape units: «the deployed farmland of Locminé» and «The Claieriver concealed», both dominated by the «lighthouse farm», the Domaine de Kerguéhennec interacts 3 main themes: agriculture, Wet valleys as well as architecture / art.

This walk defines an experience of the territory bordering the Domaine de Kerguéhennec. It constitutes an announcement of this one by a journey in three themes, three languages: art, agriculture, and humid valleys. The departure is made within the Domaine by the great perspective found linking it to the Mont de la Justice and therefore to the Agricultural Cooperative. It is integrated into the estate as a work of art. It also creates a grip with the surrounding territory and the rest of the course. The path then runs along the Claie in the valley.

«L’enclave des Sables», a periurban area adjoining south of downtown Poitiers and former market gardening site is bordered by the «ZAC de la Mérigotte» and the Clain river. As part of an order to develop the Green and Blue Infrastructure along the river, I wanted to develop the transition between the city and natural spaces by a rural edge.

The castle of Chambord is situated in the heart of one of the biggest European closed forestry fields. It is crossed by the Cosson, sub-tributary of the Loire, and by five royal aisles accessed by five entrances. A modification of these entrances was necessary in order to secure the footpaths and highlight the landscape heritage in the centre of the estate and its connection with the exterior.

ZAc DES PERRIèRES Z.a.c. des Perrières at a glance The Z.A.C. des Perrières, situated in the centre of the economic activity zone of Vineuil and St-Gervais, is characterized by a current land settlment, so a landscape quality. However, the shopping centre is very imposing, and the land policy of Immochan leads for now to unused wastelands.
The North wasteland is thought of by Immochan as a tool to extend the shopping centre. But this wasteland has different assets : panoramic point on the Loire river and Blois, away from the road and visited by strollers. On the other hand, the shopping street gives not enough place for the pedestrians and the cyclists.

A sliding shelf that transforms into a table for a 2 in 1 module
Borders enough low to allow gardening and sit to accommodate or rest. A module along for the ride around the basin consists of vegetated borders of several heights.

Pots and a manger are suspended and are adjustable in height with a crank.
These three flower-gardens halfway up, are suitable for wheelchair users, equipped with tools and watering. 27

The School of Nature and Landscape, on the occasion of its 20 years was able to participate in the Festival of Gardens of the Domaine of Chaumont-Sur-Loire mixing design by the 3rd years and technical phase/ realization by the 4th years (us). The theme of the year 2015 was «Gardens of Collections», with here a library of plants, the Phytotheque.

The KaiserstraĂ&#x;e is located in the south of the city center in the well preserved baroque part. It is a space influenced by the major urban axes of Rastatt. The main part of the KaiserstraĂ&#x;e is used as a parking lot to serve the center and shops. The entire square (including parking) must be requalified, in order to be versatile to accommodate the market, festive events and the Christmas market. 30
The competition was about to design a square in the entrance of Mainz city center and connect it to the tramway network. I was entrusted with the task of designing the particular bus stops that had to mark this place. I subsequently made the technical drawings of these stops. Finally, I was able to achieve both perspectives for the final rendering. 31

This exercise is a work requalification of a subdivision by adding a new management of rainwater. A circuit is imagined, starting from the trickling of the building and an added structure, to join ditches that feeds a large landscaped basin. The idea is to give as many uses as possible to the rainwater that has reached the height of the descent of the building, and thus to temporize their arrival at the bottom. In another measure, this structure wants to be vegetated, both by climbing plants installed at the foot of the terraces, and thanks to the planters made available to the inhabitants for each terrace.

The water flows along a 5% slope, in an open channel, to serve all the new terraces of the apartments. Each terrace is equipped with a storage tank of 30 liters of water, usable for gardening.
On the East side, the water then flows into a buried pipe.

The bed of the Tillet has hollowed out, which causes a problem of bank erosion. The flood flows will pass into the minor bed and accentuate the incision, in addition to being polluted. We then redefined the morphology of the watercourse and chose our plant palette according to the existing vegetation and taking into account the polluted aspect of the site.
