Kumihimo is the ancient art of Japanese braid making. Learn to make decorative braids using a foam disk, weights, embroidery threads and fine-gauge yarn. For advanced knitters with experience with the long-tail cast-on. Learn the cast-on and double-knitting technique and start on a scarf pattern with two colors. Supply list: size 5 or 6 knitting needles and DK or sport-weight yarn in 2 colors (580-620 yards of each color).
