OUR IDENTITY —
We at Three Strokes like to keep it colloquial and quirky, to match the eclectic mix personalities in our core team. United by our passion for untamed creativity outweighing a drive to make money, when we present ourselves in print or person, we do not name-drop. Nor do we boast or feel the urge to grow beards. Indeed, we are honest, humble people who love engaging with the community, and making art.
Logo The Three Strokes identity mark is an organic creation, illustrated by hand in Japanese ink by our in-house calligraphy maestro, Liamay.
White Space Due to the nature of the design, special consideration was made when designating the white space; allowing for room on all sides but ensuring the left hand side is smaller to not overcompensate with the white space already existing within the logo. The ‘O’ in ‘Strokes’ was used as the ratio for delegating the clear space around our brand identity.
Type Faces These sans-serif type faces have been chosen for their subtle legibility, so not to detract from the hand-drawn elements of the design.

Three Nudes While many designers champion designing something simple, with a ‘computer generated’ aesthetic, Three Strokes endeavor to work in an entirely unique way. Initially, the team that is Three Strokes bonded together over a love of handdrawn illustration, and tactile, noncomputer generated design. The launch of the studio has been planned with the intention of showcasing the raw and organic quality of our work, as a point of difference to other designers and illustrators in Sydney.

OUR STUDIO
Details about the Studio Floor Plan:
Global Gallery is a unique gallery in the heart of Darlinghurst, committed to the exhibition of contemporary artists. With a high rotation of exhibitions and functions being updated every two weeks, the gallery has played host to countless famous and emerging artists over the years. The rustic converted warehouse has a secret second level. It has timbre floors, high ceilings and has been fitted out by the Three Strokes team, to become their studio. Open plan, with peeling white walls, it is a blank canvas the creative souls at Three Strokes to paint their personality onto, both literally and metaphorically.
