Christmas Markets on The Piazza Soak up the festive atmosphere whilst shopping for unique gifts at our Christmas Market on The Piazza. Open 11am – 6pm each day with late nights Sunday 2nd and Friday 7th. This year we will be holding ‘12 Days of Christmas’ with market days across five weekends throughout the festive time. Great for last minute gift shopping, give something different this Christmas. Original art, homewares, clothing and accessories hand-made by local artisans, lots to choose from. With all the expected festive treats, pick up your Christmas decorations and cards, puddings, mince pies and hamper goodies. Keep warm whilst you shop with a mulled wine or juicy bratwurst and enjoy a large selection of savoury and sweet treats to take away with you.

BRINGING THE FUN OF CHRISTMAS TO WIMBLEDON Celebrate Christmas in Wimbledon this winter as The Broadway is transformed into a magical wonderland full of winter festivities. Our annual day of festive family fun will see part of the road being pedestrianised to host the takeover of a very magical Christmas spell. Thousands of visitors will be treated to our Christmas market stalls, street entertainment, festive performances and children’s rides. Don’t miss the magical fireworks at 5.30pm, courtesy of Centre Court Shopping Centre and, new this year, Wimbledon Winter Wonderland is open ‘til 7.30pm!

PANTOS AND PLAYS APLENTY AT WIMBLEDON’S RENOWNED THEATRES Snuggle down in Polka Theatre’s Adventure Theatre for their Christmas tale ‘In the Winter Wood’. Recommended for ages 3-6, it’s a story of bravery and friendship. For older kids, try ‘The Wind in the Willows’ showing through ‘til February, a wonderful tale brought to life with music, songs and the usual Polka magic!

Christmas means it’s Panto time at New Wimbledon Theatre! Paul Merton leads the cast in this year’s high-flying pantomime Aladdin. Packed with all of the traditional pantomime ingredients audiences expect, Aladdin features laugh-out-loud comedy, stunning scenery, beautiful costumes and plenty of boos and hisses. With a host of great eateries footsteps away from the theatre, enjoy a great festive outing for the whole family. Don’t miss Time & Leisure Studio’s (the studio theatre behind New Wimbledon Theatre) ‘A Christmas Carol – As told by Jacob Marley (deceased)’.
