Aromatherapy Blend Recipes to Make at Home 1. Relax and Unwind Blend 2. Sensual Blend Aromatherapy Bath Using essential oils in a warm bath in the evening time is a great way to unwind, let go of the day’s stresses and promote a more restful night’s sleep. Here is a fail-safe bath blend for stress that will help to alleviate muscle tension, encourage deeper breathing and promote a sense of relaxation. This amount will be enough for 2 or 3 baths 30mls of carrier oil – (Sweet almond, grapeseed, fractionated coconut oil or sunflower oil are good options.) Add the following essential oils: 3 drops of Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) 2 drop of Frankincense (Boswelia carterii) 1 drop of Roman Chamomile (Anthemis nobilis) Stir your blend well and add 10-15mls of it to an already drawn, warm bath. Relax and enjoy. **Be extra careful getting into and out of your bath when using oils as the surface can become very slippery.**
Aromatherapy Massage If you prefer not to, or simply can’t take a bath, you can use the same blend listed above as a massage oil: Use a moderate amount and massage it, or get your partner to massage it, into your back and neck, or other areas of tension. It feels wonderful and smells amazing!! Please note, do not use directly around eye area or genital area. Also, essential oils degrade rubber and latex, so they will make condoms less effective
Sensual Massage Blend Stress can also take its toll on your libido. Even if you decide you would like to conceive, your body may not be cooperating. Furthermore, perhaps you or your partner might not much feel like having sex, which obviously isn’t very conducive to getting pregnant, and actually adds to more stress. Here is a beautiful blend of essential oils that both aims to relax and act like an aphrodisiac by heightening your desire for sex. 30mls of carrier oil (Grapeseed or Sunflower are good) Add the following essential oils and blend well: 1 drop Ylang Ylang 2 drops Sweet Orange 2 drops Lavender 1 drop Sandalwood Massage a moderate amount into any area of your body that feels good. Avoid direct contact with eyes, or genitals. Remember that essential oils may reduce the effectiveness of a condom
