CONNECTION

"When I met with Scott Farnett, President of the Board for Syracuse Habitat For Humanity (SHFH) I knew right away this was going to be a unique opportunity to support the growth of our community,

" says Seneca Savings Commercial Loan Officer, Angela Stivers.

"I was familiar with SHFH, a well known non-profit serving those in need in the Syracuse and the surrounding area. I was excited! It’s not every day you get the opportunity to help a local non-profit who touches so many lives.

"We're excited to begin a whole new chapter. " - Scott Farnett, Syracuse Habitat For Humanity

SHFH had been searching for a new location that would meet their growing needs. They had gone through some unusual circumstances and were in need of a bank who could move quickly for them. We were able to move swiftly and get the loan closed prior to their deadline. COLLABORATION

Common Bond

Throughout the process we deepened our relationship and found a common bond between us. Seneca Savings is passionate about the growth of our community and the small businesses that support that growth. SHFH shares that same passion. There really is truth in “Support Local, Bank Local. ” Seneca Savings and SHFH are eager to grow in a partnership together.

"We look forward to Seneca Savings employees being a part of the hands-on, good work that SHFH does as well, " says Bank President and CEO, Joseph Vitale. We'll continue to share the unfolding story for SHFH as they forge ahead into 2022 with the right banking partnership to walk this journey with them.
