Women’s Self Defense

Confidence is gained through knowledge and training. Become more confident with this S.H.A.R.P. (Sexual Harassment Assault Rape Prevention) course. This four hour course incorporates both classroom and physical training. This training is a must for all females, especially high school and college bound girls. Vinyasa yoga connects movement to breath. It will build strength and stamina as well as center the mind and create more flexibility within the body. The class will begin slowly to warm the body, then move into more challenging poses with guidance from the teacher for modifications to make this style of yoga accessible to most bodies. The class will end with poses to cool down the body followed by restorative poses and a final deep relaxation. Participants under 18 need parental consent for registration. Hatha Yoga

This beginner to intermediate yoga class will focus on gentle to moderate Asanas (poses), as well as restorative poses to calm the mind. These will be followed by deep guided progressive muscle relaxation to further relax the mind and body. Benefits of this class include both mental and physical stability by calming the central nervous system improving your all over health and wellbeing.
